I think its about 50/50. I read that Foster knocked out Sonny Liston in sparring, of course it was far from a prime Liston, but one thing about Foster is he could punch like hell.
Unless Mac landed the big right early... pvp? Big Cat who would probably come out winging early and have him bemused and off his game plan. Granted Foster had a wallop but, like Cooney, he built much of that record on has-beens. Retired fairly early, only 2 losses but really had not any big wins in his career.
