Said so in his latest IFL video. Also said 35% is too much, which means he will give a 30% share to Parker. Where are the AJ nuthuggers who said Parker deserved 15-20% cut?

I hate to say "I told you so", but I was made to look a lunatic for suggesting a legitimate world champion deserved a lot more than 15-20%. Keep that AJ nuthugging to a minimum please, it's bD enough having to read the numpties comments on facebook. I would hope a boxing forum wouldn't be as bad.

People are talking percentages but nobody is suggesting of what?

Let's say they did accept 20%, is that fair? Well even 20% would dwarf anything Parker has earnt to date.

    So why isn't that fair?

Parker brings a belt to the table, a belt that Joshua wants so yes Parker should be paid a fair price but Parker isn't filling Wembley, he isn't selling huge PPV numbers, his last fight was a PPV on YouTube and if he doesn't fight Joshua it looks like Lucas Browne on PPV YouTube.

I think Hearns offer of 30-35% would be on related to the PPV sales money, Hearn said he'd give Parker 35% but then both fighters keep their own countries PPV sales.

I don't believe Team Parker would accept that, so I believe Team Parker are going to cost Parker a huge fight and a huge amount of money.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.

Shut the percentages down and just offer a flat fee. 10% 15% 20% all dwarfs anything Parker has ever earned and the same goes for Wilder. If you offer them a straight 5/6/7 million dollars then it’s 5/6/7 times more than they’ve ever earned for one fight! They can’t turn it down.

I think they should have met Parkers demands , why not ? Its not as if Joshua needs the money the guy is raking it in left , right and centre !

In that case they may as well let us all in for free and put it on free to air tv.

It’s not like he needs the money?

As has been said a thousand times, percentages are irrelevant

All that matters is the bottom line. How much is Parker getting to fight AJ compared to a fight against Browne.

I didn’t know his pride was so expensive to him?

I watched the interview and hearn says if Parker is that confident he should take what he's willing to offer ( I assume it's 30%) as he will get silly money for his next fight if he won. But the same could be said about AJ if they are that confident and really want to unify the division in 2018 like he has stated then just take your 65%. if Parker lost he's losing his belt and not making a lot in his next fight. If AJ loses he loses his belts but will no doubt still make more in his next fight than Parker would get for the unification fight against AJ

The difference is Parker isn't taking a pay cut. Parker at the deal Hearn offers him makes a whole lot more than his ever made previously.

AJ shouldn't be earning any less than he would normally as its him who brings all the money to the table.

But 30% is less than 35% and 35% goes into 70%. 70 - 35 is 35 divide that by the number of people in NZ and multiply by Parkers highest purse, plus sponsorship and you can see that i couldnt give 2 ****s

Jesus, people still saying Parker ain't worth 30%? If Hearn is willing to pay him 30%, he's likely worth 35%. The big money is in the PPV buys, and AJ/Parker will do at least double the PPV's that AJ/Takam did.

It will do the same numbers as Klitschko, AJ's first fight v a legitimate world champion.

    AJ/WK - 50/50
AJ/Parker 70/30 - Which means it's easily AJ's biggest payday. Quite simple really.

Just look at the numbers each guy generates. Parker only generates maybe 20% of the revenue for this fight so that's all he deserves. Simple. Hearn is only offering more to placate Parker's ego and get the fight done.

Nothing hard to understand, just pure business sense. 15% of total revenue would be far more than Parker has ever earned and will be far more total commercial worth than he brings to the fight.

Or maybe it's the fashionable anti AJ/Matchroom sentiment making it difficult to understand?
