Nah Mansour is definitely live in the fight, he is the fitter man so if he can get drag into the later rounds, looking at the shape of Kuzmin I will favour Mansour.

I think this is a better fight than the Browne, Browne would have lost comfortably because if out of shape old Chagaev can outbox you then I think a fresher similar man in Kuzmin would beat him for my money.

Sergey Kuzmin - The official page

    Actions
Officially: Lucas Brown refused to fight Sergey Kuzmin, he will niw be replaced by American Amir Mansour.

✍ On November 27, a Russian duel Sergei Kuzmin against American Amir Mansur will take place in Moscow for the vacant WBC International heavyweight title.

Amir Mansur is an American professional boxer, performing in a heavyweight division. The champion of the USA is USBA (2013-2014) and USNBC (2017-b.) At heavyweight.

In the professional ring, Mansur made his debut in July 1997. He made nine victorious fights, and in 2001 he jailed for possession of drugs. He spent eight and a half years in prison and all the time he did not stop training.

✍ In the spring of 2010, Amir was released ahead of schedule. He restored the boxing license and from August 2010 started to perform again in the professional ring.

In 2011, knocked out in the first round two strong boxers - Hector Ferreiro (21-9-2) and Raymond Ochieng

    The battle with Dominique Guinn
August 19, 2011 Mansour went into the ring with the famous American boxer Dominik Guinn. In the battle for the North American titles WBO NABO and IBF, Mansour defeated Guinn on points.

December 2, 2011 Mansour knocked out an experienced Colombian heavyweight Epifanio Mendoza.

On December 23, 2011, Mansour was sentenced to 14 months in prison for violating the conditional early release.

For exemplary conduct was released on July 12, 2012. Again, he reinstated a boxing license and fought in January 2013 against American Dominic Alexander. Mansour knocked out a compatriot in the first round in 26 seconds and again returned to the big box.

    Fight with Jason Gavern
April 12, 2013 Amir knocked out in the first round of the famous American jerseyman Jason Gavern

    Fight with Maurice Harris
August 23, 2013 in the battle for the title of US champion USBA Mansour won on points of another famous American jornymena, Maurice Harris

    The fight with Kelvin Price
December 14, 2013, met with the American prospect, former basketball player Kelvin Price. Price before the fight had a record of 14 wins and only one defeat by knockout from Deontey Wilder. Price, whose growth is 201 cm, dominated the first two rounds at the expense of jabs, but already in the third Mansour began to successfully reduce the distance and deliver blows to the target. For 50 seconds before the end of the fourth round, Mansour got a powerful left hook and then added one more. Shocked Price managed to survive the subsequent attempt at finishing and survive until the end of the round. At the end of the fifth round, Mansour, the opposing left, sent Price down but did not manage to finish him before the gong. In the sixth round, Pryce even managed to level the match somewhat, having made happy the precise hits, but the outcome was already in the next round when Mansour was the most powerful right side. Price broke down on canvas and partially fell outside the ring. He was able with great difficulty to get up and live until the end of the round, but his corner decided to stop the beating and took it off the fight. Mansour wins by technical knockout

    The fight with Steve Cunningham
On April 4, 2014, Mansour went into the ring with a 37-year-old American boxer, former world heavyweight champion, Steve Cunningham. As expected, Mansour started the fight aggressively, but most of his attacks did not find purpose, but not all. In the third round, Cunningham caught his game and began to successfully counterattack the opponent. In the fourth three minutes, both opponents had dissections on his face, while Mansur started to swell around his left eye.

In the fifth round, Mansour took Cunningham right side and Steve was on the floor of the ring. When he got up, he assumed the Mansur attack and was knocked down again at the end of the round. It seemed that the outcome of the battle is predetermined, but Steve managed to recover and in the sixth round, he again forced Mansur to fist the air, while successfully counter-attacking.

In the eighth round, Mansur's left eye closed and eventually the exhausted Amir in the tenth round, after the right straight, and the subsequent Cunningham series with the offensive, himself ended up in flash knockdown, dropping onto the canvas with one hand. After the final bell, the score on the judges' notes was 97-90, 95-92, 95-92 in favor of Steve Cunningham

    The fight with Fred Cassie
November 8, 2014, met with a strong Cameroonian Fred Kassi. The first 6 rounds were very competitive. Cassi managed to shy away from the dangerous blows of Mansour, he changed stands and successfully counter-attacked. It seemed that Mansour cannot adapt to the manner of the opponent. However, in the second half of Round 7 during the exchange of blows at the ropes, Mansoor was the most powerful right-wing and sent the opponent to a heavy knock-out, thereby causing Cassie the first early defeat in his career

    The fight with Jo Daveyko
May 8, 2015 met with compatriot Joey Daveiko. Both fighters promised to show a spectacular duel, but it resulted in a tactical confrontation between the two.

    The fight with Gerald Washington
October 13, 2015, held a battle with undefeated compatriot Gerald Washington. Washington used its advantage in the growth and length of the hands, working with jabs and dealing counter blows to the right, thereby winning the first 4 rounds. In the fourth round, Washington successfully shook the opponent with an uppercut but did not develop success. But then he began to get tired, and the second half of the battle was under the control of the fresher Mansur, who inflicted many accurate hits on the hull, although Washington minimized the damage from his hits due to the clinch. The battle lasted for 10 rounds, after which the judges declared a draw: 97-93 Washington, 96-94 Mansour and 95-95. The crowd booed the decision. Some observers thought that Mansur won at least 6 rounds and deserved victory. Washington also disagreed with the draw, believing that it did enough to win the fight

    The fight with Dominic Bresel
On January 23, 2016, the Mansur fight was held for the vacant WBC Continental Americas champion title against undefeated Dominic Brisil. Although Mansur was 13 years older than his opponent and inferior to him 16 cm in height, he dominated the battle and won the first five rounds. In the third round, Mansur with an accurate right hook sent the opponent to a knockdown. However, Mansour did not go to the sixth round, and Bresel won the opponent's refusal to continue the fight. At the time of the stop, Mansour was leading on the cards of all three judges with a score of 50-44. Initially, as the reason for the refusal, the jaw fracture supposedly received by Mansour in the fifth round was called as a reason for the refusal, but he denied this, saying that in the second round he missed the tongue between the teeth after the missed blow, which caused his swelling and started to bleed. Because of the inability to breathe normally, Mansur was forced to stop the fight

    Fight with Travis Kauffman
March 17, 2017, in a duel for the vacant US heavyweight title under the WBC version (USNBC), met with 31-year-old Travis Kauffman. The beginning of the fight was left for Kauffman, who in the second round shook Mansur with a right-hand shot. In the fourth round, both rivals had a lot of good hits. But then more athletic and easy on his feet, Mansour began to intercept the initiative. In the ninth round, he successfully shook the tired opponent. According to the results of 12 rounds, the judges gave Mansur the victory by the decision of the majority (117-111, 115-113, 114-114). Thus, Mansour interrupted a series of 13 wins in a row, available from Kauffman before the battle

Interview with Kuzmin's manager Vladimir Kornilov:

Sergey Kuzmin recently had to change rival, how would you comment on Lucas Brown's refusal to fight with Kuzmin?

    - It's hard to comment on something of this nature. Of course, it was not entirely honorable for him to abandon the battle practically a month before the battle. The contract was not signed by him at that time, which, in principle, gives him such an opportunity, but before that there have been negotiations for three, four weeks and, in principle, everything was already on the verge of signing. And then sharply his representatives simply disappeared. You know, we are faced with such problems very often, so immediately switched to alternate options, and found a good option, so to speak, no worse than Lucas Browne. Perhaps even more experienced to some extent, who fought with more serious rivals tha Browne. And that is Amir Mansour.

Of course, anything happens, there Lucas Brown probably offered a fight with Parker. We expected this, but we would certainly have acted differently in this situation, we would have said that I apologize, but it turned out so, we were offered such an option for the world title, and you should understand that for us it is more interesting. From the team of Brown such a message was not received for a long time. That is, they just stopped contacting us, which, of course, we consider not very professional.

    - Has all formalities been completed with Amir Mansur? What do you think of him, what is he dangerous for Sergey?

    - Everything is over with Amir Mansur. Contract signed. Now he is in process of recieving a visa. In principle, everything goes according to plan. Hopefully, everything will be fine. The heavy weight is so peculiar that you never know what to expect. If anything goes wrong, there are reserve options for if Mansour can't fight or refuse the fight. The main thing is for Kuzmin to fight with the best opponent and show a good fight.

Amir Mansur is a very specific boxer, he created problems for more than one heavyweight. Mansour is left-handed, he is strong, he is breathing, he easily passes the distance of twelve rounds, even given his age. A difficult battle, and it will be very interesting. I think it will be one of the most competitive fights of this evening, so I think everyone will be interested, and many will come to see this fight. Already now the fans show a very big interest in Kuzmin's battle, both initially with Brown, and now with Mansur. So I think you should not miss the opportunity to watch this fight live.

    - The title of WBC International, which will receive the winner of this fight means getting into the top 15 of the WBC. Do you intend to continue to advance on this version or do you consider other options?

    - We have not decided yet, it is premature. This is the first big fight for Kuzmin, after which, I think, he will enter already in many ratings, not only in the WBC rating. But since we now have good relations with the WBC, then yes, we are promoting many guys with the WBC, as well as other organizations. It is possible that further progress will be on WBC.

Kuzmin already met in amateurs with Joshua, in fact there was an interesting fight. I advise you to watch this fight, he officially did not win this decision, but I advise you to see and evaluate from your point of view how the fight was. We will look and vary, choose the rating and organization, which will move forward depending on how the situation in the heavyweight will go forward. And how unification battles will take place, and where there will be an opportunity to enter the world title more effectively, faster way.

    - What are your plans for the next year for Kuzmin if he wins November 27? When are you planning the next fight and where?

    - I think there is a great chance that Kuzmin will perform at the same time as Bivol, and perhaps this next fight will be on the Bivol's show in the US in February or March. There are some ideas, there are some heavyweights that are also performing more now in America, some of them on the HBO channel, with which we would be interested to organize a duel. One of them is Miller, who performed on Showtime, now switched to HBO. I think that such a fight would be very interesting to the audience.

If Kuz can land his right hand on Miller as frequently as Wach did, Kuz wins. I don't think anybody in boxing can withstand Kuz's right all fight long.

"Firstly, I accepted an offer to fight Povetkin," Flores said. - I also accepted the offer to fight with Sergey Kuzmin. The guys from the "World Boxing" made identical offers to ten different boxers, and then they chose one. Now Kuzmin meets with Amir Mansur, and I hope, Amir will knock him out. "

"Secondly, I'm not a spare rival for Povetkin," Flores added. - I wanted to fight with Povetkin and in the same way with Kuzmin. I refused the offer to be a reserve rival for Povetkin, because I want a guaranteed fight. I'm not going to be spare for Povetkin if I do not get paid for training, and I will not fight at least on the undercard. It's silly to prepare for a fight with Povetkin, and then stay with a bill of 25 thousand dollars for a training camp. I wanted to fight Povetkin and I wanted this fight, but I do not want to get into trouble. "

The recent interview with Amir Mansour:

"Sergey is a tough guy. He trained in the US worked with many good guys. I really respect that he agreed to enter the ring with me, that he did not get scared. I even once offered to fight Deontey Wilder, he did not accept the challenge. So I take off my hat before this guy, that he agreed. He made the right choice. "

The American also admitted that his impressions of Russia were much better than expected. "We, frankly, thought that it would be very cold in Moscow. But it turned out that not so much,

According to Kuzmin's manager, Vadim Kornilov, Kuzmin may fight again in the United States in his next fight. It all depends on how long it will take for Kuzmin's cut to heal.

"I think there’s a good chance that Kuzmin will fight next on the same show with Dmitry Bivol. It can take place in the United States in February or in March of the next year. There are some opponents, some heavyweights, who also compete and fight on the HBO, whom we are quite interested in. One fight we are really interested in is Jarrell Miller as he just switched from Showtime to HBO," Kornilov said.
