Outside the top 20 I know, but what's happened to Joe Pigford - seems to have disappeared after a great fight on BT Sport earlier this year??
Liam Smiths best wins don't have any good wins themselves, Taylors wins have better wins. Even Renold Quinlan beat Geale, when Saunders got the SD against Jr who had Jr beaten? Nobody of note, I think Saunders actually lost points for that fight!
I want to ask since the end of 2016 we had the most champions, a year on has it halved.Quite Sad how it turned from Strong to Good.
(Again if like to emphasise I’m no way endorsing Smith here or saying he’s better than Taylor!) Smiths last opponents have been number 2 ranked Liam Williams and Number 3 ranked Liam Williams. He’s been a world champion and his only loss has been to Canelo. Josh Taylor hasn’t fought a number 2 and number 3 ranked challenger, nor been world champion in the past 12 months or so. You’re forgetting that if Smith made weight first time round he would be a two time world champion now! So I guess my point is I don’t see how it’s computer scored. The only thing that would justify it I suppose is that if you’re ranked 55 and beat someone ranked 20 you get more points as your further back from them?
Smith obviously doesn't lose points against Canelo because Canelo is p4p but Williams clearly isn't no3 the division, never was, not even close. Top 3 is Lara, Hurd, Charlo in whatever order Who is Williams best win? Gary Corcoran? John Thompson? Neither of those guys had a better win than Ohara's Derry Mathews?
