Big Brother beats up little brother. Vitali late stoppage.

I think Vitali would win. They were both incredibly unfortunate historically in that they were the best two fighters of their era and neither proved himself the best. What were the odds.

Probably Vitali. He had too much fight in him. But if somebody could crack that chin, Wlad could.

I actually wouldn't want to see this. There's something gross about two brothers beating the face off each other and it wouldn't be a friendly sparring match, this would be vicious.

This fight would have been great too see both felt the other would win. I believe Wlad was more sincere. It would have also made up for the somewhat dry spell in that 2005/2010 time period.

Both knew each others weakness and strengths which makes it competitive and both thought or said the other would win in the early 2000's. I think after 2005 Vitali emerged as the tougher of the two with less guess work.

Neither is really better overall than the other but Vitali reacts to punches better.Vitali nullifies Wlad by mid rounds and gets a late stoppage.

I think Vitali would beat a lot of smaller hws that are greater than him. But his hands down, chin out in the air, leaning back defence spells doom against a guy of a similar size with a great jab, great right hand, faster handspeed and more power.

Depends on when they fought. I favor Vitali any time prior to his initial retirement. And after his return, I think Wlad wins. Except maybe when Vitali first came back in late 2008. He looked exceptionally sharp against Peter, which was ironic given his long layoff - but I never thought he looked close to being that sharp again at any point during his comeback.

It would have been great. You'd have the two best heavyweights in the world going at it regardless of who they were.

Wins to Wlad would pretty much have him impossible to keep out of the top 10 ever and cases for top 5 would have some sort of merit.

Wins to Vitali would enhance his standing considerably.

A hard fought trilogy or even one great bout well fought would likely have enhanced both of them historically.

The situation was a screaming shame for both of them and the fans as well.

Maybe, maybe not. Certainly Wlad was better technically. But I can't erase from my mind the image of Sanders missing Vitali's chin by an inch, over and over, and Sanders was faster than Wlad. Vits looks like a big galoot that does everything wrong and should be easy to land on ... but he's not. I wouldn't write Wlad off in this one by any means but I wouldn't put money on him either.

for a while wlad would make vitali look a complete oaf, until vits connects, and then.... "panic" ie' wlad gets ktfo.

Sanders was faster but Wlad is way more accurate and sets his punches better up a lot better than him. Vitali got away with a lot of things due to his size and toughness but I'm in doubt he'll get sway with those things against better opposition. See him vs. old, fat LL.

I used to think it was vitali, but in the end wlad proved himself the better fighter. Ultimately, it is results which count, wlad had better results, and the better fighter normally wins.

Actually, it could be a very interesting and entering type of fight if you can get past the fact they were brothers.

They used to spar, though I never saw the video where the two were letting the punches fly.
I think Vitali would eventually break through Wlad's guard and end it somewhere in the middle rounds.
