I read that too but I think it was from a fake Eddie Hearn account

I can't see Hearn feeding Eggington to Brook. Eggington only young and managed by Barry Hearn, they will try to rebuilt him at new weight

This fight was discussed a while back as a potential comeback fight for Brook and I think it's a brilliant comeback fight for him.

Eggington is tough enough to give him some rounds but practically zero threat. Eggington appears to have a bit of a fanbase as well so there would be legitimate interest.

Brook could do much worse tbh, this is the type of fight he needs to come back to.

Good for Brook, terrible for Eggington. Can’t see it since they have an interest in both fighters.

If this fight happens Eggington really is the lamb away to the slaughter. Would rather see Brook fight an established 154ib fighter someone around 7-10th best in division.

Can see this happening later but not as Brook's comeback. Eggington is also coming off a loss so they will build both fighters a little for that money.

Has Brook even definitely decided to move to 154 yet???

I’m the same. I can’t see it. If Eggington loses this where does he go? Crawl over to Warren and everyone on here claims it as a good move by Warren?

Exactly, I think Eggington he has already had some tough losses and he is only young. The last thing he needs right now is to be fed to Brook.

Maybe you can see it in a few fights time but even then surely Brook will be well past Eggington's level if he has 1 or 2 fights at 154 and is looking comfortable.

Maybe Hearn thinks that if you're gonna bake Brook an omelette, you're gonna have to break some eggingtons.

Egg got wobbled by Paulie. He gets hammed and stopped by Kell.
Hopefully, this doesn't happen a decent puncher with some craft against a guy who comes forward and doesn't move his head is asking for trouble. Egg has already over achieved no need for this kind of fight. Its target practice and nothing else.
