Abraham fought everybody who would fight him and never ducked anybody. He tried to fight Sturm and Pavlik and they both ducked him. He fought Miranda after Miranda was ducked by Kessler. Sturm isn't remotely comparable to King Arthur.
Long reigns show how dominant a fighter is.. beating mandatory challenger after mandatory challenger, Abraham was a beast in his prime, and Sturm fought and beat countless top 10 middleweights.
Maidana was 4 years away from retiring when he faced Khan, he wasn't pre prime. Khan wants a cash out fight and is not willing to earn it, that's whats messed his career up. When he was coming up you would be deluded to think he wouldn't fight those you mentioned and beat them, he couldn't fight all of them, he didn't have to either. He was a massive name after the Olympics and was being brought a long differently. He didn't have to fight his way through domestic first like most..
If Audley Harrison had had an undeserved manufactured shot against a Kotelnik level of fighter and had a defence against a Salita and Mccloskey he'd have been a world champion too. The 140 division has been the weakest division in boxing for years since Ive been watching boxing, the amount of 'world champions' that would never have been world champions in other divisions... Amir Khan Gavin Rees Junior Witter Lamont Peterson Andreas Kotelnik Souleymane Mbaye Jessie Vargas Lovemore N'dou Juan Urango Devon Alexander Cesar Cuenca Kendall Holt Chris Algieri Paulie Malignaggi Ricky Burns ( past it) Erik Morales ( past it, fat and out of retirement)
he has the worst chin I've ever seen of any fighter thats ever been in the top 20 of any division. If he was getting Knocked out around that time by Watson, Drilzane, Limond, Gomez, Prescott then at LEAST one of Thaxton, Romanov,Murray would have gave him a beating. You are deluded if you think the Maidana of the Alexander fight where he lost every round!, struggled with a fat out of retirement Erik Morales and could only win a majority decision, lost to Kotelnik,etc-. he looked like a very average plodder around that time ... was the same guy who was trained by Robert Garcia who faced Broner and Mayweather. He improved massively, he was like a totally different fighter.
Matthysse and Provodikov were both robbed in them fights, they both clearly won. and they both were very big punchers, there's no way Khan would have faced them.. he's avoided big punchers his entire career, the only reason he faced Maidana was because he had to it was his mandatory challenger and he'd put it off for years, and nearly ducked out of that fight but De la hoya forced him.
You ****in hate him lol, your entitled to your opinion. I be honest I don't rate him BIGTIME I just think your selling him a little short
Audley Harrison. At least he's got himself an Olympic gold medal - no-one can take that away from him.
Gabe Rosado Always willing to fight the best and giving it his all. Litterally a blood and guts fighter.
Deontay Wilder. Terrible technique, abysmal chin but the man can hit and totally kills it on the dancefloor.
For Heavy's,, Razor Ruddock Lamon Brewster David Tua Bert Cooper Ron Lyle Ernie Shavers George Chuvalo
you are fooling yourself. here's a list of the most accomplished MW's during Abraham's and sturm's 'reign', and at MW they fought between them (wait for it) NONE of them. and yet ALL of these fighters, who made their name on the biggest stage of all, had a piece of each other. off the top of my head : Bernard Hopkins, Sergio Martinez, paul Williams, jermain taylor, Kelly pavlik, winky wright you must be german, or at least live in Germany, if the think the ottke, Abraham, sturm, stieglitz way of doing business is anything other than milking a paper belt, getting rich while avoiding ALL the best fighters at their preferred weight during their 'reigns' look at all their careers, then look at the best fighters they didn't fight, and you'll see and undeniable common theme
