    Over money, Eddie has confirmed.

Pathetic. My guess is they are trying to get Yafai in with Gonzalez because they probably view him as damaged goods at this point and Yafai's size would be a massive advantage.

That's two unification ducks from Eddie in the space of one week.

Pretty crappy, but hopefully Yafai still fights on SuperFly 2.

Turning down a unification is not a good look, would have been a good fight. Inoue would be a big favourite, but if Yafai somehow got a win it pushes him to a p4p ranking.

He should take the risk and take the offer I'm sure it'll still be good money. despite being a champion no one knows who he is in the UK, he needs a fight like this for his profile.

Depends on money if it' genuinely only for a fraction above his normal purse I don't blame his team for not talking it at this stage whilst he's an inexperienced world champion

I rate Yafai but Inoue annihilates him and Hearn knows that, that's why he won't let him anywhere near him any time soon unless there's big money on the table.

The hypocrisy of Hearn and his fanboys is hilarious

Inoue is absolute class. From Hearn’s perspective, anyone who isn’t a big boxing fan would never have heard of him. I do like Yafai but there’s levels and Hearn knows it. It’s better for Yafai’s earning potential that he dodges this lad, but it’s not good for boxing fans robbed of a entertaining fight to preserve the zero.

Hearn to Wilder: Take the fight, become number 1 and then earn the money
Hearn on Yafai/Inoue & Burnett/Tete: the money wasn't good enough for that fight

I'm sure the chocolatito offer wasn't much more than the Inoue offer but they took that. thought they could get a name on their record who could be going over the hill at the wrong weight

Does Yafai have a opinion on this? He talks a good fight but he seems to be obsessed with fighting Gonzales even after Gonzalez was brutally KOed in his last fight. At 28, he could well be at his peak now and if he really believed in himself he should be targeting unification fights with the other champs. The younger Inoue is only going to get better as he becomes more experienced and he could well be struggling at the weight so this might well be the best time for Yafai to pull off the upset win.

The money for Wilder probably trumps the whole of the superfly 2 card. So it’s a bit of a daft comparison.

I think chocalito is a better fight for him. It is easier and a more well known name. It bridges the gap. If he loses then he wasn't ready. If he wins then he goes 8n better prepared. Only my opinion of course
