Ruiz is better than the guy AJ won title from. 35% rematch clause for AJ and home advantage sounds like a very fair deal.

I've said it before , people are missing the point , the Wilder fight is'nt there , they want more and are using the payday has an excuse before they even have too ,, The polevkin fihgt is'nt there Eddie is;nt interested he don't want to go to Russia , The Ortiz fight is too dangerous they don;t want that either . It only leaves second Teir boxers who will not generate the same money , Fair enough AJ will sell big fighting mickey mouse in London but fighting Parker for a belt will sell BIGGER , so its 70% of a non seller by AJ's standards or 65% , of a big seller with a belt , and a rematch clause ,, no brainer , get the 65% of a bigger purse , get the rematch clause , and go win the belt , that gives him more leverage when dealing with Wilder .

Unless of course there is another scenario ,, Hearn does'nt fancy AJ's chances with a guy who just might turn it on if they fight after all AJ has looked very vunerable

Wilder does not want to fight Joshua for any amount of money! He knows better! He would get knocked out! At least Parker is serious about a fight with Joshua, he is only asking 35% which is very fair.................Wilder wants 50% when he has nothing to show for it. Everyone knows Wilder is a fraud! If Wilder would fight a legit fighter, then perhaps he could get more money, but Joshua has more titles, Wilder only bought one, or rather Haymon........

It saddens me that supposed boxing fans get on board a promoters bull **** train so readily. Im tired of money being at the epicenter of wether a fight ends up getting made or not. As a fan, all I care about is the fights. I couldnt care less what either fighter is getting paid and I wish fighters and promoters wouldnt go on about it so much in interviews. Leave that for behind the scenes and let the fans think it's all about the sport.

I wish we could have a proper governing organisation that could impose some simple rules within the sport and actually keep it a little bit more sports orientated. I'd love to see a rule like every single fight is a 35/35 split and the winner takes home the extra 30%. Not only would it eliminate all the months of nonsense we have to go through for every reasonably big fight getting amde but it could make some fights a lot more competetive if there is a nice fat cheque going to the winner.

Yes AJ is a draw and brings money to the table. But at the end of the day he's not getting in the ring shadow boxing, he needs a dance partner.

Some great points being made on here.

The way I feel about it, is that as previously mentioned, money negotiations should be done in private. I don’t care what AJ or Parker earn. Just bl00dy fight and not messing about over a few digits on a huge amount of money. If you have nothing...then yes, fight for every single pound, I get that...but when you have tens of millions already in the bank and you’re set for life...well, it’s just sheer greed and ego.

The fans who come and fill them stadiums and buy all them PPV’s have invested in his story and they want to see him conquering all comers like some modern day gladiator. It will get boring unless they fight the best around.

Finally, I thought Parker was 2nd best against Ruiz and Fury...but to his credit, he has a solid chin and I think he’ll go looking for a fellow hype job in AJ. Hearn’s ar5ehole will be twitching more than Liam Williams eyes for this potential fight.

A lot good points made above just feel u hear all crap stay humble or I'm in boxing for glory not money yet won't take a 65 -35 split home adavantage with rematch clause and prob earn 10 million chance unify belts build legacy say u beat other champs and agaist prob easiest other champ out ther showing just pure greed and wanting defend against bums.

Wilder takes a lot abuse his defences and he should but the same time the molinas 2 week notice takam and pulev ain't much better.

quick question is Parker vs Ruiz a fully fit takam and fury better than Charles Martin molina and 2 week notice takem. Klitscho is only good fight for Joshua so far. Whyte was early career both diff fighters now.

Can understand business side it but don't say u want a legacy etc when 65 percent prob 10 million pound to have a chance to unify belts against a guy u will be huge favourite to win. This why seems greedy and humble stuff is **** no one askin him to take a poor deal If he so confident y not take 65 for easy nite and another belt

Parker does not hold a showpiece win over an ATG.

Yeah ,i can't make head nor tail of all that either..
best of luck getting your point across though ...

I fancy Wilder to jump in and take on Parker myself ...then if he wins he really is in a 50/50 situation with AJ

Aj in a interview with BBC sport now saying when parker camp come to sense and shame the public don' get see a fight they want and he is sad its come down money the klitscho fight wasmt about money and he has nothing to offer

Well he is the champ of a legitimate world title and willing fight away for 35 percent and give a rematch. Aj full shite just pure greed. Yeah its a business but make 10 million a guy u should beat pretty comfortable gain another belt show willingness fight another champ massive disappoint so in a week aj parker Burnett tete kafai inoune. All because money. So much hearn give fans fight want its all money

I get what your saying but the two fighters records are hardly comparable, after all AJ retired Wladimir and on his last fight dealt with a very awkward and untrained for challenger in Carlos takem, I don’t think Joshua gets his dues for having a dangerous HW step in on short notice and dispatching him.
On the other hand Parker fought Hughie Fury ( tried too ) with fury running for the entire fight and holding, scared stiff, this made anyone watching not that enthused about Parker or looking forward to his next fight.
We all know AJ is the payday for anyone who fights him, going of what both fighters have been earning in past fights, I think any unwillingness to sign terms falls on Parker’s side, champion or not, he has the least prestigious belt!
I just wish he would take the warriors code and then we would see if AJ deserves his Aside status, either way you look at it Parker Is with one belt the challenger.

I don't think AJ has any say he has said before Matchroom and Eddie handle negotiations while he deals with matters in the ring. I'd imagine Parker the same.

An ATG who lost his previous fight was ring rusty and the wrong side of 40. Excellent win but let's put it into perspective a little. AJ deserves bigger purse but 65-35% delivers that in spades.
