why do everyone accuse holyfield of steroids but not other fighters?

So I was watching Holyfield Vs Tyson and everyone was saying Holyfield was using steroids thats why he won ... etc But nobody even mentions that Tyson uses it... Im pretty sure all top fighters use performance enchancing drugs. So why is everyone just attacking Holyfield? besides he beat Tyson Twice. Everyone like to say he was headbutting Tyson NO HE WAS NOT! He was just positioning his head .. It cleary shows if you watch the fight.

Steriods don't make you a better fighter at all , that's all skill. Steriods can help your conditioning but Holyfield was a superb boxer. Tyson was steps behind and would have never beat Evander, even with a bat, after that prison stint. Hell,Tyson in Tokyo would have gotten KO'd faster if that was Holyfield instead of Douglas.

 

true I just hate how everyone makes excuses for Tyson losing. They say things like ´´he wasnt trainin enough if he was properly trained he would have beat holyfield'' or ´´ mike tyson was past his prime´´ .So was holyfield and hes older ...

 

Just go thru Tyson's resume on boxrec. Look at the weight for each fight. Then compare it with Evan Field's...

 

tyson was built like a brick **** house at 13 years old purely natural. where holyfield seemed to bulk up over night which always rings alarm bells.

 

While it's likely many top athletes do dope, Tyson never was really implicated in the same way Holyfield was in connection with an illicit drug ring that supplied performance enhancing drugs to athletes. So Holyfield gets way more criticism for doping as there was clearly a high possibility he did cheat while with Tyson all we can do is speculate.

 

tyson was using drugs at 12 year old. I think tyson started using Steroids at like age 16.

 

Look at him footage at 15 year old then 16-17 . you dont build that much muscle in that short span.

 

I gained 60 pounds of muscle between 14-16, played football and boxed. It was kids that were lifting 380 and were 6'5" in the 11th grade. Where are you from ?
When get a chance look at 2 high school teams from Texas go at it in football and try to find one thats not bigger than the coach.

 

Look at him when he was 13 he looked like a full grown man, he weighed 190lbs at 13! He was a freak of nature, your claim that he used steroids doesn't make sense if he wasn't much heavier at 16 than when he was 13.

 

you didnt gain 60 pounds of muscle you just throwing a number in you have no idea how much that is. it was probably fat + water. or you used juice yourself.
Anyway I still think tyson used gear probably started at somewhere at 16-18.
