Crawford, by some distance. Bud is generally considered as most people's #1 or #2, unified the titles and is now moving into the talent packed 147 division to claim his place in history. I personally don't think he will have the success there he did previously but if he does that means he is a very special fighter indeed. Canelo has feasted on guys 1-2 divisions smaller than him for most of his career, and lost to the 3 best opponents he has faced - PBF, Lara, GGG. No contest really.
I actually prefer Canelo. He's fought and beaten much better opposition and he's just as skilled. Crawford is a 2 weight world champion without a standout win, that doesn't mean he isn't elite, but his opponents have been awful.
Crawford ranks higher cause Canelo should have lost his last fight but Canelo has a far better resume and is better to watch.
I'd bet current Crawford beats the Canelo that FMJ faced. Stylistic nightmare for the counter-puncher Canelo, is Bud.
Canelo brutally KO's Bud both in real life and in P4P rankings. Canelo's valiant losing efforts to Lara, Trout, Golovkin and Mayweather are better than Crawford's best wins.
Let's revisit this thread when Bud ups his level of opposition. As of now Canelo gets the edge based on resume.
