    A win over 135 lineal champ Jorge Linares would be something special. Thats a fight that can be made as well , unlike the Garcia fight which will probably never happen.

    You’re being unreasonable. I can ask the same thing about Crawford. Why doesn’t he go see GGG. Same scenario. Loma rehydrates to 140, Crawford’s best fighting weight. Meanwhile Crawford rehydrates to 158, GGG’s best fighting weight.

    different divisions by a prominent margin, theres absolutely no need.

    What would do it is becoming undisputed in this division and title defences in another too.

    When was the last time Terrance Crawford dragged a guy up TWO weight classes only to have his nuthuggers lump praise on him for beating a guy at such a great disadvantage?

    I'm sure if young Manny was around today at 130lbs, people would think fighting Bud at 140lbs would be ridiculous stating the size disadvantage, and the fight would never be made because the fans never wanted it. Shame Manny decided to prove himself up there, and test himself against the best using his elite skills. Manny at 140lbs vs current Bud is a 50/50 fight. Loma is bigger than 130lb Manny, problem?
