I'm a huge TripleG fan, but his age always makes me sad. He is 36 now, that's an avarage age of retiring in boxing. He has 2 children, but he decided to train with Abel in Big Bear, so he can rarely see his family and i think that's something what is not good for him.
But, only his last 2 fight went to the distance and he didn't take a lot of punishment yet. The big fights, the fame and the big paydays are just ahead of them.

What will happen with him? Is he deteriorating or he can still carry on for 2 or 3 more years?

    Three more fights, IMHO.

Unify (Canelo & BJS) and then move up to SMW against whoever the top dog there is.

He should move up as cutting weight only gets harder as you get older.

I think 12 months he will be gone. I don’t believe Sanchez when he says there are years left in GGG. He’s slowing quite obviously already

I think Canelo will swerve him and the winner of Lemieux saunders will want Canelo for the bigger pay day. I’m thinking there’s more dough against Canelo? I reckon he might get shut out here

He'll be gone soon. I think he's sick of the corruption in this sport. He tries to be a good guy and do everything right, bring excitement to the fans

Yet he's spent his career being constantly ducked, and now that hes top dog, is still constantly ducked and forced to fight huge steroid cheats

The most revered fighter in the sport, and treated like B side dog ****

He'll be out of this disgusting sport within a year or so

(hopefully KO-ing a few jobbers to break Borenard's ATG laiden record before he goes)

Saunders won't go near GGG. Lemiuex already lost to him, so he'd face Canelo.

Canelo & Saundersa are cowards. Always have been.

2 years at best, 3 fights at a very good level then 1 retirement fight to light up the arena one last time. I will geniunely be sad when he retires, for me he is the icon of the 2010+ generation, I will remember GGG as one of the best MW ever regardless of what happens.

I am expecting 2018 to be his final year but would be grateful for the ride to last through 2019. I think GGG is capable of continuing past 2018 and 2019 but I think he'll get out before he takes too much punishment. He doesn't exactly have B-Hop or Floyd's hit-and-don't-get-hit style, which is suitable when it comes to longevity.

If I was GGG, I'd have two more fights. BJS to unify, than one final bout at 168lbs vs the Super Series winner, either Eubank/Groves/Smith, all of which I think he can beat there.

I want to see a KO of Canelo followed by BJS (if/when he beats Lemmy) and then the next biggest fight available (Jacobs II/Charlo/Derevyanchenko. That's it. Be remembered as a top 5-10 middleweight great with money and mental faculties intact.

thats why billy joe saunders wears a cap. its not cos hes a britgangsta, its so he can lower it down when 3gs walking past so he dont get asked to fight him.
