What about... the BIG guy? Would he beat the one who turned up for the Wald fight?

I think the remedy to Tyson Fury is speed, its why I fancy Usyk to beat him. I think Usyk will lose to AJ though, because he's slightly faster than Fury and can bang just a bit.

Hmm, ATG, simply brilliant amateur or the guy that lost to David Price.

I know, I know, the pros are different and Fury ended up being not as bad as many thought he was, but still. Hard to see anything but Cammarelle giving him a boxing lesson.

I think Cammarelle has bigger arsenal than Wald at his disposal, and won't be afraid to throw. I'm not sure he's fast enough for Fury though, not the one who stays out of range. Wlad is 3 inches bigger than Cammarelle, so I'd have to stick with The Furious One.

I saw Camarelle out box Joshua for the gold in London, it was home cooking for Joshua, Camerelle won, but Joshua had the home judges.....................Cammarelle was a good fighter.............

Felix Savon would box circles around Moorer and 90's Foreman.

You can never really be sure. We'd have expected huge things from Solis had he never turned pro, no doubt.

That London Joshua was pretty poor. Hometown judges should get the medal. I would not have predicted his current position from those performances. The Italian was good but he'd need to be way better than London, like Joshua, to be a champion now.

Even he would've been flailing about ****ed if he met any of the 70's lot. They tried to make or there was talk of him v Ali, as a one off fight, before everyone come to their senses and realised it was pretty stupid. Given time in the pro ranks then yes, its competitive. One off fight and Stevenson would've took a bad beating once the rounds went by on Cardio alone imo

Wlad would have killed Cammarelle he had bad stamina and a questionable chin.

Where did you get this nonsense?

Cammarelle faced the following and was only down once in his career against Timurziev

    Timurziev
    Povetkin
    Romanchuk
    Hrgovic
    Nistor
    Omarov
    Joshua
    Medzhidov
    Kuzmin
    Rozhnov
    Yoka
    Zhieli
    Price
    Rivas

You would be hard pressed to find a amateur HW with a more extensive list of opposition and quality bangers. His chin is certified.

As far as Wlad there are parallels to be drawn with Saunders. 6'3, southpaw, excellent counter puncher, heavy hands, good handspeed. Many will only remember Roberto during his later career when he was riddled with back injuries, was far less athletic, and had slowed down considerably.....yet was still able to beat or arguably beat guys like Medzhidov, Hrgovic, Joshua, Yoka.

Short amateur fights and he damn near got stopped by a Nigerian bum and was shaken many times. His chin would have been an issue in the pros and the thread crux was how he would have done as a pro vs Wlad of all people.

Most of those amateur fights you mentioned he lost although the Joshua fights were B.S. robberies.
