If/When he comes back , Tyson Fury is the most skilled HW, followed by Pov. But at HW power and intensity are just as if not more important . I think Joshua is the most effective HW, but not the most skilled .

Wilder will gas him out if he can evade the power from the Russian

Avoided for most of his prime, he got Joshua in 2018. He can win it. Would have had a much better chance if he was 35, not 38.

He's not bad, is he as good as shades of Ali? Nope.

Avoided by whom? Seems to me he was the one doing a lot of the avoiding.

Wilder doesn't want any neither does Fury. I'd pick Povektin to beat both. Povetkin used to have top end hand speed, while that has slowed down a bit, he's still got a top chin, a good heart, skills and some power in the hook.

I'd give him a real chance to beat Joshua. 40.60

Well, Povetkin was the one who avoided Wlad for the longest time, and later wanted more time before signing to face Wilder. You can't say that Wilder doesn't want any when Wilder signed to face him previously. It wasn't Wilder's fault that the fight was called.

I think Wilder vs Povetkin is a 50-50 fight. But I definitely believe Joshua and Fury would both thoroughly outclass the grossly overrated Povetkin. The latter two are far more talented than Povetkin ever was. And Wilder might not be more skilled, but his power is savage and he knows how to deliver it.

Wilder, Joshua, and Fury are all far more accomplished pros than Povetkin.

He used to be good but IMO he's fading and every year his skills/speed will degrade further. To call him the most skilled HW at the moment is reaching IMO as he's 38 already. IMO a fight between this aged version of him and Parker or Wilder would probably be true toss-ups so it's hard to declare him the most skilled one at the moment.

How it wasn’t Wilders fault when he was the one running as soon as there was slightest opportunity. There is still 0 credible proof about meldonium.

Thoroughly is an exaggeration. Fury might have more class, but not as much to qualify as thoroughly. That version of Klitschko which Povetkin was fighting would have won Fury, Joshua without any serious problems.

Telling that Wilder is more accomplished is not serious. In terms of what is he more accomplished? Belt? Povetkin has much better resume. Even Hammer is way better than anyone Wilder has defeated.

I missed the Hammer fight as I was busy this week, so I just finished watching it.

Holy hell, Povetkin is gone. He looked like warmed over ****. Damn near arthritic.

He was a remarkable boxer; tragic he'll probably never own a belt.

the three beltholders are more likely to fight Povetkin after that performance, then had he ko'd Hammer in short order.
