    Net neutrality means that every data supplied by an internet service had to be treated the same, no matter what it was and should only be influenced by the bandwith of the original source(s) and the bandwith of the receiving party. Now that is removed internet service providers can prioritise datastreams and also cut bandwith or even block it altogether.
    Streaming services in particular (Netflix was a victim of that before the law was in place) can be given low priority and bandwith, with the serviceprovider having to provide less data or held it hostage for a ransom (pay more and get your data for that service at a normal speed).

    Jim Sterling's video gives a hilarious depiction of the situation.
