Ronald Macintosh has been the commentator on the other tournament fights so will he be calling this fight?
    Please god no!!!!
He does not stop talking and saying the obvious which we can already see.

Nice guy people say but how does he keep getting used as a commentator?

Tbh he's the best commentator in Britain (which isn't hard), heck no 2 is probably Tony Bellew haha.

British commentators make the Americans look like superstars

Boxnation are an embarrassment and so is Adam Smith. Not much to choose from tbh.

Sky, Boxnation and Ron are all **** commentators to be honest. Ron is probably the best as he’s least biased but my god his voice is annoying.

Dave Farrar on Channel 5 is the best of admittedly a bad bunch.

Sky occasionally use Andy Clarke but Adam Smith inexplicably takes priority whenever there is a big night.

McIntosh is absolutely terrible, using complicated and antiquated words like "stanza" when "round" would do.

Ok, OK, don't panic, I'll do it..

I sound very London, people have said I should be in one of those terrible British gangster films, I'd describe my voice as a mix between Micky Flanagan and Danny Dyer and I do swear very casually but I'll curb it for TV.

My commentary style is very much like Jim Watt, I talk utter cobblers, mutter things, change my mind on scoring mid round depending who I want to win and if I've had a few Stella's I will yell very loudly "Bang on the Chen" or "Smash the ****"

Its Christmas so I won't demand a huge fee, I'll do it for free drinks and a kebab.

Commentary is actually important to me. Great commentary makes great sport even better imo. Brings it to life. Poor/biased commentary is at best annoying, at worst drains the energy out of the fight.

I think the US broadcasters are amazing. Quality of the analysis is seriously good. I watch a lot of HBO cards and will always try and find an HBO stream where possible, as I did for Lemieux Saunders. Jim Lampley/Max Kellerman/Roy Jones Jr are a superb team. I like Harold Lederman too, very often agree with his unofficial scorecard. Sometimes they have Andre Ward as well, hugely insightful man, love hearing him talk boxing. Showtime also brilliant. ESPN pretty rubbish, apart from Teddy Atlas, who apparently only does post-fight analysis now.

When Paulie Malignaggi was with Sky, he was the best boxing analyst on British TV by a country mile. Bellew now probably no.2, which tells you all you need to know.

Macintosh, adam smith, froch all somewhere between bang average and ****. Don't even get me started on the boxnation guys. At times, Richie Woodhall sounds like a man condemned to the gallows.

Very good commentator, speaks well and most importantly understands the sport from local to world level. Always seems to offer unbiased and well informed opinions on boxing matters whenever I have heard him speak

I love his commentary. Speculative right hand is his most iconic id say.
