That video as biased as ****.

It literally pauses on Manny's shots to make it seem they were something even when they weren't. I guess parry'd shots count now?

This is how compu box should work. A couple of guys pressing buttons is akin to having more judges. I don't see the need to compile punch stats in real time when it could be reviewed immediately after the fight in slow motion for an accurate assessment. Those who oppose slo mo replays are in fear of their guy being exposed.

Compubox is garbage, slo mo is not. It takes years for a judge to prove himself worthy of officiating the biggest fights but it does not take years to learn how to competently judge a fight. A judge is a professional judge from 1st time he is paid to judge a fight even if it a 4 rder. A good judge will be good from the 1st fight he judges. Experience is far less helpful to a judge than it is for a ref who needs to go through everything than can happen in the ring before he is confident and competent.

Pac fans are more delusional than scientologists. I guess that can happen easily in a third world country where there isn't much else to cling to.

Are you implying he only has fans in the Philippines?

Slow motion is not realistic though. Sometimes appearance is everything weather not you think its fair or not. Mayweather always looks slick weather he is landing or not. And his defense is which is impressive. But when 3 judges judge a fight that they all seem to see the same I see that as more relevant than a bunch of complaining fans and media who think there is a robbery.

Anybody else ever notice this? We here all the time that ultra violent contests can ruin a fighter physically due to the toll it takes on their body. Which is true. In certain instances a fighter can recover from a hellacious war in boxing with little to no effect in the short term. But those usually come from fighters who are about 29-30 and younger and have not yet undergone a nasty war. You start piling up wars though and no fighter can take that abuse, no matter how young they are.

Pac did undergo a lot of nasty wars when he was a young fighter and no doubt his youth aided in his recovery. Yet it's not like the only war he had was the first Marquez fight. They were pretty much coming on a yearly or almost yearly basis after he started fighting the elite fighters. Miraculously though according to people here Pacquiao never suffered any side effects from them. Only other fighters do.

Probably the nap he took from the Marquez KO helped him rest his brain and it did more good than bad.. now in all seriousness.. Pac is a G! I still think his last losses aside from May and Marquez have been robberies.. The man is something else! Respect! And he would still win against some of the youngsters or give em a hell of a fight IMO.. But I do think he defintely slowed down.. I saw it on the Rios fight,, he was just different and something was missing..

Yeah and SOME boxers like to wait until guys like Pac go through these wars before fighting them.

    Floyd fans probably

Pac was a geriatric in terms of wear & tear but he's just that good that even as a politician & a battered housewife he was still one of the best in the world! Makes me appreciate him even more at his peak

Does anybody remember the first Morales fight in 2005? That was an absolute savage war. I could feel the pain and destruction through the TV screen it was that violent. And this was less than a year from the first Marquez war. If anybody else had gone through 2 wars like that within a year and had lost a decision in his last fight like Pac did to Morales they would call him done. Nobody would ever get any credit for fighting Pac after that. They would just call Pac a has been, washed up punch drunk dummy. If that was any other fighter.

Pacquiao is also the only fighter that isn't subject to size disadvantages. No excuses, the angry mob screamed! Also, Pacquiao's the only fighter who is on PEDs fighting clean guys despite horrible chest and bacne (Roidquez) and IV abuse (Saline Jr.).
