Do you want proof ? I'll tell you how to get it
Ask any medical professional with expertise in dehydration, what condition a mam would be in that was so severely dehydrated that he needed 750 ml of saline ?? They'll tell you he would be in ICU while they fought to stop his kidneys shutting down not running round a boxing ring for 36 mins

I'm a prosthetics inventor myself. I think maybe you've mistaken need with want and want may have been presented as need to Floyd as the patient.

What I mean is imagine you break your leg pretty bad, multiple shatter points along the femur, you've basically bone shards in your thigh and little else. Let's say caused by a head on collision down a two lane country road. You get brought into the hospital, you can certainly drink fluids, but you're going to end up the a hydration IV all the same. You're going to be told you need the IV but the truth is you don't need it the hospital wants you to have it because it makes their jobs easier, but you do not need it for hydration or the administration of drugs.

I dunno the story youse guys are talking about, but I am a medical professional. I'm not saying you're wrong about Floyd taking PEDs, I dunno, but I wouldn't bank on an IV being used for hydration that wasn't for someone suffering from dehydration as evidence of it. That's just evidence he got check in somewhere and really little else.

Another way I could say this is I've never seen a patient without an IV. By the time they see me they've all got IVs. They don't all have the same need for them, but they all have them.

What FlIVd appeared to be doing was somthing called "diluting" which is common practice and illegal. Im 1000% sure FlIVd was on peds for at least the later part of his career. People going on about him being the loudest advocate for cleaning up the sport and always accusing certain fighters of doping with no proof to back it up. Sounds exactly like a person in a relationship whos cheating and then becomes paranoid their spouse is doing the same and constantly make accusations bases on their own sense of self guilt.

I guarantee you he did, and that shouldn't take away anything from him as a fighter. Say what you want about FMJ, but you CAN'T say he didn't work his butt off and train his butt, regardless of whether he was fighting a world champion or a cab driver. He took every fight seriously and trained/worked his tail off for every fight. His legacy and official record obviously meant a huge amount to him, I think they meant much more to him than the amount of money he made regardless of what he might say or want people to believe.

So, in my mind I believe he went out there like a REAL dog and did whatever he needed to and could to achieve what he wanted and was smart enough to get away with it which is also half the battle.
