Deontay Wilder AKA Lomachenko of the heavyweight division embodies everything that is the sweet science of boxing. In this clip above, he’s in the Burger King kitchen looking for his next opponent the Buffet King but he gets into a fight with the kitchen countertop. As you can see from the video, it looks like the kitchen countertop clips Deontay and makes him do the skanky leg.

Wilder is learning the sweet science where most of his opponents train - the kitchen.

People keep sleeping on this kid's technique but he's damn good.

Posture, position, and patience like George Foreman or Rocky Marciano. I'm not saying he looks like those guys, I'm saying he does the things he does for the same reasons as them.

Mess with the line of sight and watch how the opponent reacts while throwing heavy shots to disguise the perfect shot. Wilder's gotten pretty fantastic at it.

Also, what he's showing right in this video. Wilder can turn. Fury can turn. Bellew can turn. End of list of well known HWs who can turn. Wlad, ten years as champion, could not turn. Fury turned his ass all night and Wlad just could not keep up. You can say his length, his awkward style yada, but those are vague things aren't they? I am being very specific, Fury beat Wlad by turning him....that's how he used his length, that's what was awkward about his style. Wlad can deal with a big lug bending at the waist and leaning back when he comes in, Wlad can not deal with turning. Nor can Pov, Joshua, Parker, or Ortiz.

i'll give wilder credit if he fights and beats AJ, but his track record says he won't. and then you wonder why people hate on him when he talks about himself as the second coming

Good breakdown. Wilder might be real good. Won't know for sure until he actually beats a clear top 5 hw, though. One thing to do it against the Molinas of the world, another to do it against the Ortiz's.

I honestly think wilder must be trolling us with that comment, either that or he inherited Charlie z delusions of grandeur

What are you judging him on the eye test cause to my mind he's only fought very low standard of fighters and even they at times have made him look very ordinary, granted with zero technique he stills KOs folk, imagine he learnt to punch correctly.

I expect he'll beat Ortiz and Povetkin as his size and athleticism is big but to my mind there's a reason he's been so carefully matched over his career, they are so scared of messing up the big money fight with AJ they manipulated the rankings just so he could face Stiverne again,if he's so good how does c level fighters like Washington and Spilka out box him and all things equal won rounds against him?

Deontay's boxing intelligence, and technique is just on another level compared to these heavyweight chumps.

    Wilders tweets make no sense.

So is he starting an Arts and Crafts business ? Maybe making little wooden windmills for tourists coming to Alabama? (all 20 of them).
