Fair question. Just never thought much of his skills. He almost got KO'd by that scrub he fought in his PBC debut. He looks very lackluster against some of the bums he fights. If Quigg had of decided to fight a full 12 rounds we wouldn't be talking about Frampton at all. His claim to fame is having fairly even fights against another over rated guy in LSC.

 

Fair enough reasoning. Personally I think the LSC win was an excellent achievement I rate LSC myself. I also do not think Quigg beats Frampton ever. I just really do not rate Quigg non existent head movement.

I am from Belfast and have followed Carl naturally and I would actually tend to agree with you tbh. Although not due to lack of skills I don't think he applies himself well, doesn't make adjustments quick enough when things are not going his way and has not been active enough.

Agreed. He should not be missing weight at feather he's already relatively small for the weight.

Uh. If you had been watching boxing for more than five minutes you'd know that Donaire vs. Darchinyan I actually was huge in the sport at the time, got nearly unprecedented (modern era) hype for the lower weights.

Rigondeaux fight was bigger too.

 

But Darchinyan didn't bring the fans in droves as Frampton will... Unless I'm overating Frampton's popularity back home.
