Thanks for the vid. Do you guys think Williams took Quintana easy in the first fight considering what happened tonight? I didn't see the first one.
Yeah the shots he finished him with were very accurate. I thought he would win too but the same as you, by decision. Seems that Quintana is the type of fighter that if you attack early he can be overwhelmed, let him get a rythym and its difficult though.
holy shite....nice thanks for the post i couldnt get to watch anything so appreciate it.... Go Williams ...i admit I incorrectly wrote him off....
Welcome. No, IMO Quintana is solid if you box with him and Williams just didn't sit down on his shots in the last fight.
I'm surprised Quintana looked so amateurish after he got hurt. He didn't know what to do and just started backing up with his hands down.
This taking lightly excuse is just that, an excuse. If people say Williams took him lightly in the 1st fight, then I guess you could say the same about Quintana in the 2nd one. He was talking out more this time, saying he would KO Williams, saying Williams couldn't punch, he was an amateur, he wasn't getting paid enough, why should I rematch him immediately, etc. What I saw was that he caught a cold Quintana and finished him. I hardly saw anything where I can say this hype machine that I knew would come flying back if he won is justified. He still got hit a couple times with the left hand like the 1st fight and his defense was still open. Paul should stop calling out peoples names the way he does, didn't he learn last time, especially calling Cotto out every second, he's become obsessed with him...again. He should be careful what he is asking for, because Cotto is definitely one who won't be "unfocused" if he does get in there with him.
now thats something he never did in the first fight, took quintana by surprise i guess.. got anymore vids on todays fights?
thats the thing i was also wondering...his hands was down when he got caught the 2nd time, error perhaps
Man what a win by PW. I honestly did not know if he could get it done but he came back with authority tonight. Wins over Margarito and now Quintana, he is starting to build a nice little resmue at 147.
that is an awesome video. damn that was pretty brutal looking. apparently the man can punch and finish damn well.
