Not off topic at all Joe E,....after all, Armstrong was part of the tapestry of his time,...he liked to dance as well as punch people...I liked this! And Merry Christmas!!
Yeah, me too. I think that if there were recreational time machines...conducted like touring and travel,....I would be denied as a risk because I would end up defecting to the 30's, 40's or 50's.
I'd have no qualms about turning black & white the rest of my life, living in an Art Deco design & furniture filled apartment, and going to the Saturday night fights with my buds, all of us in sharp suits and hats! And of course my wife would look absolutely gorgeous in black & white.
At the fights, wearing a natty fedora, a sharp suit, a cigar in my mouth, and a gorgeous dame at my side.....it would be hard for the internet time police to find me as this scenario of mine could've been in the 30's, 40's or the 50's. Good for me!!
They would never find us Red! I would have taken a box lunch to Skillman's 2-3 days a week, rubbed elbows with the ATG warriors, and bask in the magic!!
