BJS not a huge puncher but he is busy and he doesn't clinch very often. IMO he's not boring but some people have dismissed him as such.

Not in the least, I find his style a pleasure to watch, I tend to prefer defensively minded yet active almost baiting counter punchers that put on a show. Same reason I like Sergio Martinez, Joe Calzaghe, Oleksandr Usyk, Vasyl Lomachenko, Erik Morales, Austin Trout etc. As opposed to incredibly dull safety first risk adverse Rigo/FMJ like bores.

Nah, at his best he's great to watch. When he lets his hands go he can put them together well. His footwork and defence are not too shabby either.

Anyone who thinks BJS is boring. Go watch Hughie Fury and find out what boring really looks like.

Even an action fighter can be boring to watch if the matchmaking lacks a necessary spark. Chris Eubank Jr. is a good example, his fights with Quinlan and Abraham were very monotonous in spite of his output, but he's been in some exciting fights with Dmitrii Chudinov and Spike.

Billy Joe was less than thrilling to watch in a somewhat competitive fight with Monroe, but the style matchup and the threat factor of David Lemieux made for a more compelling contest despite its ultimate one-sidedness.

His choice in ring attire can sometimes be a tad dull.

Monroe fight was boring but was mainly a clash of styles and Monroes fault. The Lemeiux fight was brilliant to watch.

I think Stevie Saunders has a more direct approach but I still enjoy watching his Dad also.

I like to watch a counter boxer, I think it often gets under appreciated because a lot instantly label it as boring and choose not to watch it

Every now and then there’s one who takes it too far and can be boring, but I enjoyed watching BJS school David
