I mean, who here thought Lockett had any shot? I hope no one. It was a gimmee fight for Pavlik so he could smash someones face in. Good for him.

Let Mora fight him now. I hate that guy.

It was supposed to be a showcase fight and that's how it panned out. Good win for Pavlik, good show for the fans/HBO.

I'd like to see him fight winner of Abraham/Miranda...If Miranda wins and they can repeat their first performance I'd be happier than R. Kelly at a quinceanera.

Not at all Gary Lockett isnt even the best in Britain.

    The matchmaking was a farce.

It pretty much played out as I expected. Pavlik did his job and looked good doing so. I think he's improved a little technically since I saw him fight Miranda. While it was a total mismatch a champion is allowed the odd easy fight now and again.

No one here thought Lockett had a shot. Still, he was even worse than anyone thought he'd be...that was a C level performance at best.:-(

Getting thrashed and showing general tactical ineptness? D.

C fighters on a rigorous scale include fighters that are 'decent', a C+ is a gate keeper, which would be a Zertuche or Zuniga type at 160. That Lockett wasn't even close to that. D+, congratulations on that one Enzo.

    I called the round correct.:yep

I figured Lockett would've put up more of a fight then he did. I figured he would have lasted to atleast the 6th.

Now the Lopez/ Ponce fight was a suprise.

It pretty much went as expected. Anyone that had seen Lockett before should have realised he was way out of his depth. He spent most of his career at light middle and is slow and predictable. I would have been suprised if it lasted more than 4-5 rounds.

I only just watched the fight on Youtube, couldn't be bothered staying up for that nonsense.

Pavlik just beat a guy half his size with arms that looked about a third the length of Pavliks. Big Whoop!

I mean I like Pavlik, he's a good fighter but wtf!!

Enzo Calzaghe isn't right in the head and seeing what I did of the fight, I'm guessing he told Lockett "Now, this Pavlik is taller than you and uses the jab well, so what you need to do being smaller than him, is duck under that jab and haymaker him" :-(

Complete mismatch, glad I never stayed up for it.

I was not shocked at all... Everybody knew it would be a walk in the park for Kelly and all Lockett coud do was hope to fight against the punishment and the pain and last the distance... Mora pulled an upset but that is another completely different thing - he had the skills and he had the physical ability and activity against a 37 year old... Mora did overcome his own moment of truth but he should not get greedy and leave it all in the 154 pound division... Mora is dead meat against Pavlik at 160.
