It was a great fight because both were doing what they wanted to do. Negron dropped Pipps with a body punch and hurt him to the body several times. Pipps made him pay coming in, landing clean combinations. I thought Pipps could have shaded it but a draw was the most fair decision.
Fights definitely going on my "to watch" list. I hope I can dig up a copy someday, one way or another...

Thanks Escudo! That's the second time those three fights have been mentioned. Toney v Jirov should be in there - that's one I forgot. And Ward v Augustus too. Now, against my own judgement, I'm putting Sanchez v Gomez in as well.
Shavers vs Lyle at Heavyweight is a personal fave. Brewster vs Ettienne is also a great Heavyweight fight.
