It's weird that nobody has mentioned Mike Tyson's pot farm! 40 acres of pot! Matthysse knocked Peterson out in the 3rd round, he might win his upcoming fight for the 147 lb. title. He knocked Peterson out at 140!
No wonder Iron Mike is finally looking happy, these days.. Matt's on a slide, but even at 80% he'd still be a handful. A rough fighter who can swat always puts butts-in-the-buckets
Yes, I really like Matthysse, he is exciting and can punch! He also has a new trainer, hope he wins, if he does he said he wants to fight Danny Garcia again! I wish he would knock Angel Garcia out!
Oh, she has her own wikipedia page and is a famous pop singer. How about that? 8 charting singles. Yeah, she makes more money than him.
I wanted to do a post about how much respect I have for the fighter that Canelo has become. A few years ago, I can honestly tell you I was not really impressed with Canelo. I was, however, impressed with what I felt were little improvements he seemed to make every fight. Nothing significant, but every time out, it seemed he gained just a little bit more, and a little bit more, and a little bit more. Watching him today, I am fully impressed with the fighter he has become. The fighter he is today, says a huge amount about 2 things. His IQ, and his Dedication/Work Ethic. If there was any fighter in recent memory that would have had excuses for slacking, and letting a rockstar lifestyle undermine his potential.... its Canelo. But to the contrary, he keeps working his ass off, he keeps learning, he keeps improving. Thats pretty damn impressive, and is a huge testament to the kind of fighter he is in his head and in his heart. So just wanted to give some random props his way.... I dont think many modern fighters could walk in his shoes of fame and fortune, while continuing to improve and stay disciplined like he has done.
I’ve kinda come to really like Eubank jr more as a boxer over the last few fights, I feel that moving up to SMW has given him a new lease of life and has allowed him to improve a lot, he’s that fighter for me that I shouldn’t like because of his personality but u can’t help but like him.
Kinda stupid question... and a question that will sound like Im trolling but Im 100% serious. Is the Wilder in the Ortiz fight the most powerful fighter under 215lbs in boxing history? Random, pointless question. Just curious is all. The dude probably could damn near make cruiser if he was actually trying to cut weight during camp.
yes and no. wilder hits hard, no doubt, but his ko power comes more from speed and surprise than from natural freakish power. when he loads up, he loads up, thats why he loses his balance so often when he misses a shot. guys with raw power can create tremendous amounts of torque in small spaces, like this This content is protected you give guys like tyson, holyfield, moorer, a 7' wind up and still land the shot, and theyll take your head off too. but, wilder is able to get the most out of the power he does have, so yes he might be landing the most powerful punches under 215. you see guys like wilder all the time in the lower weights, only there the bad technique gets dealt with around their 15th fight, which is about the time they start sniffing around the real talent... kind of where wilder was just at. its just that the talent at hw is really poor at the moment so hes getting a few free buys to the big game. i cant complain about the entertainment value of his fights, he comes to gamble and he has heart, so im gonna tune in. i want to see him against the winner in england, and if he wins, ill sport his pic in my avatar as penance for my doubt.
GGG better snap out of the long pep talks with his pimp about the importance of Money, the draw is already enough damage to his legacy, taking an L will destroy his legacy...Legacies are not for sale, when he retire he will be okay with the money he has... He should prepare some cash in a bag, wire the rest to Kazakh banks, surprise everyone with an early KO, a fast small boat out of Venice into the calm ocean, offline and never to be heard from again
So Ive been trying to ignore a nagging suspicion, and I cant believe Im actually going to say this but.... Im starting to think that Loma is, style wise, the most amazing fighter Ive ever seen as an active fighter. Im not saying hes the best... Im just saying that his style is probably the most amazing one Ive ever seen.
It's definitely something new, something we haven't seen before. I'm a little more impressed by how unhittable Whitaker or Locche could be at times or the way that Tyson could steamroll through opponents, but Lomachenko definitely has an interesting style too.
