If the odds are anything similar when he fights Povetkin I'll have a little bet but I think Parker will get smashed.
Last thing I heard Parker and Higgins wanted some things changed in the contract, Hearn got a new contract drawn up and sent to them. Guessing they are just double checking it and ensuring Hearn didn't sneak in other changes they don't like. So it's just a matter of time for Parker to sign I guess. Hopefully on Monday we'll get an announcement.
Hope they have a referee that won't stop the fight on the first jab landed, then there are the judges...................Parker has balls coming to the UK to fight Joshua, Wilder is afraid, he will never fight Joshau!
I remember I had £50 on Whyte to knock out Joshua at 15/1, man when he rocked him I thought I was on £750.
I think any boxer who has the chin/stamina to go past 6 rounds with Joshua can win. He has gassed in the fights that have gone past mid-rounds and a good boxer/banger will exploit that. Don't be surprised if Parker wins!
Anyone else reminded of the Trainspotting drug deal in London when it comes to Higgins.. This content is protected Mark Renton: Straight away he clocked us for what we were. Small-time wasters with an accidental big deal. p.s. Parker himself deserves better!
My thoughts are too that AJ's stamina is his glaring weakness. Stand up to the power, make him work and then down him late on. Parker does have those kind of attributes but I just wonder if the size difference will be too much for him. He hasn't been in with many fighter who hit like Joshua
I think so,I pick AJ, but Parker has fast hands, a good chin ,and can dig a bit, plus he is undefeated.
This... AJ to win in a tougher than expected fight. Especially if it goes rounds and he tires.. All comes down to how hard can Parker make him work early and can he stand up to the power
hardly saying I think Parker a Cert just that hes a massive price. AJ looked trouble by TAkAM on more than 1 occasion. Parker just won vs same opp but hes a better suited style to fighting AJ.
The pudding apologises. Writing on Facebook, the Kiwi boxer said: “Bit too far with that one. Shouldn’t have said it. Will fix that up at some stage.”
I like Parker, but I hate the clowns he drags long with him. Talking about logbooks and playbooks. It’s a boxing match not the Super Bowl. David Higgins should do stand up.
