 The Yarde hype is crazy considering the only fighter he's fought who even had a faint pulse is a cotton bud fists 39 year old career SMW.

I really don't understand why Yarde is getting the amount of hype he is but the far more proven Buatsi who was a good amateur and was IIRC the only fighter in the 2016 Olympics to register 2 stoppage victories, both of which against very tough and seasoned fighters, isn't getting anywhere near as much. Rasulov, who Buatsi KO'd in spectacular fashion, was a world amateur silver & 2 bronze medalist. The only reason I can think of is because Yarde looks more flashy.

Can't be talking about that shoulder roll it's terrible and fighting on the back foot against a tough but not very good super middle and he drew with Stieglitz so what Stieglitz is a shot former super middle and he beat a terrible fighter to win that European title

Most of Yarde's hype stems from the fact that he's jacked, and is a good looking, cool looking black guy.

    Same goes for Joshua.

Nothing wrong with that but literally that's what leads to the hype. The muscles especially.

Yeah I think that's got to be part of the reason why too. I do think he has talent but I need to see him in there with a live body, an actual LHW who will test his whiskers, before I'm ready to anoint him the future of the division, and a very stacked division at that.

Well his coach is obviously deluded and comments like that will only add to Yardes arrogance and delusions.

Buatsi and Hutchinson look like much better prospects.

Totally agree. Both have had much less pro fights but have great amateur pedigree. I think both would beat him any day of the week.

The fact that he is rated in the top 5 of the WBO is very concerning.

The fact that he is yet to fight a top 100 guy and in theory could be next up to fight Kovalev should put the fear of God into him and his team....unless they are truly delusional.

Ive got a feeling when he does step up hes really going to be found wanting.

Big problem with world rankings. Been many British fighters having their world rankings engineered so they get a world title shot without proving they are better than British Title level and in one or two cases not even proved to be at that level. Wonder how many of these fighters would have been good enough at world level if they just built career through old traditional British/Cmonwealth, European then World level instead of the first mentioned routes.

So he's Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather, Roy Jones Jr all rolled into one, mean killing machine, after proving himself against Hungarian gypsies that wash your car.

    I see.
