Hughie Fury appears to be on a road to nowhere. Come April he will have had 1 fight in 2 years, and in that fight he stunk the place out against Joseph Parker. Where to now for Hughie Fury?
Better suited to the amateurs I’m afraid Can’t crack an egg and runs for 12 rounds, nobody wants to watch that
Go after the Euro champion that just beat chisora, be funny watching them both run round the ring together.
To be fair he showed a decent amount of skill against Parker. But he needs to learn to punch, not just play tag. I thought a fight with Whyte had been mentioned.
Hughie and uncle Pete are going to go into the fast food business and attack it with their special protein drinks and wild boar meat and change the face of it world wide. It will be called the BEEF CAKE where even out of shape ppl can automatically get slimmer and pack on lean mass.
He needs to fight a name.Maybe a Whyte type. But whats in it for Whyte or anyone at that level. Not huge money and they will need to be fit, cause Fury will be on the run for most of the fight, looking for a decision..
I doubt he's going to be relevant for a while. Didn't he call out Whyte and ducked out about 1 hour later? He also has some gender identity related matters to figure out.
I think he has options. He hasnt been overly active but I think if he is busy he will go on. He is in the tough UK HW scene and could possibly get big domestic match ups with Price, Chisora, Whyte, Haye, Bellew, Sexton, On the European scene there are some decent match ups. I think if he is active and winning opportunities will appear Still there are British, Commonwealth, European titles
15k people in the uk combined live and tv watched parker v fury out of sight out of mind madness putting the fight on you tube.
I think he would UD Del Boy and Whyte,TKO Price.Bellew ,i reckon he would be dangerous because Fury ain't a puncher and he would pressure Fury without worring to much whats coming back.I think Fury with 2 legs would probably stop Fury.
True, Haye was actually the WBO mandatory but decided to fight Bellew instead which have Hughie the mandatory position by default. I can't see anyone giving Hughie a shot at them anytime soon, too much risk for too little reward. Luckily he is young and has plenty of time to gradually build up a winning streak and then hope he can position himself for another mandatory shot. I thought his fight plan for Parker was all wrong. It was similar to Tyson's tactics against Wlad and Peter Fury probably thought they'd get the decision on home soil even with such a passive performance. But Parker unlike Wlad was willing to take risks to close the distance and persisted til the end despite being unable to force Hughie to engage.
