Benn was kind of wide open and that's no good against Pavlik. Im thinking of the Miranda fight like Russel mentioned. It would probably be somewhat of a war but I give Pavlik the edge.
I think Pavlik has become a bit underrated over time because of what happened during and after the Hopkins fight. He almost seems like the forgotten man.
His career was destroyed by inactivity, substance abuse, and other problems. Mainly the bottle as far as I remember. People will eventually respect Kelly properly. People need to remember that the leftovers of an old Jermain Taylor are now super middleweight champions, having just upset James Degale. Jermain Taylor was a big deal, and a competent fighter as well.
Pavlik a huge MW like McCellan. However Pavlik preparation wouldn't be disrupted like GMAC. Benn would come on fast and floor Pavlik in 2nd round. Pavlik has great recuperative moments and would survive some scary moments and comeback to stop Benn in 9 rds.
