Errol Spence jr would of knocked Mayweather out

This current 41 year old PBF I agree but he wouldn't even beat the version who beat Canelo. Quit matching the worst version of a fighter with the best version of another to promote your agenda. Prime for prime PBF schools Spence.

 

I'm not a fan of Mayweather as a person in the slightest but he handles Spence to a UD, and that's no disrespect to Spence.

 

First of all, Floyd would never take this fight, could see a strategic retirement.

I think Spence would have a legit shot to beat Floyd who wasn't the biggest welter and by most peoples accounts fighting well above his prime weight. Spence has a plethora of physical advantages to combat Floyd's speed and overall movement. Spence also brings an educated aggression, pressurising style coupled with being a lefty which could wear down Mayweathers defence, forcing mistakes/openings.
Not that much can be made of it but was Spence not rumoured to have worked Floyd over during sparring years back?

Plus, this is Floyd vs 'X' on an internet forum - of course he loses!

I don't think that Floyd would fight him though. He wouldn't have fought a guy like Tito, Hearns, Spence, Thurman, Williams, etc. Basically any half decent, young and big WW.

That's not even a hateful comment, but I see absolutely no evidence to suggest that Floyd was eager to fight a big WW with youth and talent.

 

This. The man knows his stuff right here. We can speculate what would have happened if they fought prime for prime. But the reality is Spence is too big and too risky for Mayweather to consider fighting him. We don't know who would win because Floyd simply wouldn't fight him.

Floyd ducked his mandatory of 3 years in Keith Thurman. He never fought Thurman, but fought lower risk opposition like Featherweight Manny Pacquiao and Andre ****ing Berto.

Here's the thing Spence is harder stylistically for Floyd than Thurman is. If he won't even fight his mandatory in Thurman then of ****ing course he wouldn't fight Spence.

 

At this point in time, prime for prime (if Spence is indeed in his prime, which it seems he is) Walter has the correct complete opinion. All of it.

Give Spence some time though, he may prove his own greatness by improving the level of his prime.
