    2018 will be the year heavyweights climb back on top, we are lucky enough to have a heavyweight mini tournament of sorts happening right now, the path to the unified champ is as follows;

    Group A
Joshua vs Parker fights the winner of Povetkin vs Price (WBA mandatory)

    Group B
Wilder vs Ortiz fights the winner of Whyte vs Browne *WBC mandatory)

Winner of Group A fights winner of Group B to begin a new lineage.

    Who's coming out on top?

That would be AWESOME if the "tournament" goes down like that, with AJ Parker winner fighting Sasha price winner and Wilder Ortiz winner fighting Browne Whyte winner.

AJ deserves to be favored, but Wilder, Ortiz, Sasha, Parker should all be live underdogs in this.

I also feel like it's too much to hope for. It's been 20 years since the HW division did something that rewarding. Can't help but feel we'll just be extremely lucky if round one of the tournament comes off without a hitch, then the winners fight each other.

    Been saying Wilder since 2011.

Things look great for AJ now, once things looked great for Wlad too, and things looked great for Fury after that.

The first four title undisputed HW champion since the ancient Hellenistic four will be American.

and if it were possible we'd never know anyway, because the earth would stop spinning if he somehow beats Pov.

I mean, Sasha could like, roll his ankle or something. I could see Price scoring a Klitschko vs. Solis type KO1 under those circumstances. (which some lucky devil Brit homer would probably get rich on, with a cheeky little punt at like 200/1 odds)

Then, let's say Joshua is softened up by Parker in a war, but scrapes by. Then he gets caught with a lucky punch early by Price, and that makes 2 down. If the next & last man in his path happens to be Wilder (assuming he beats Ortiz, which most expect him to, and then Whyte or Browne, which most would expect him to) - are we really going to sit here and say that Price isn't also just 1 clean shot away from laying Wilder flat?

    ...even if you voted Browne?

You do know those are tattoos all over him, not melanin, right?

Racist against Scousers in that case. Its disgusting the prejudice Pricey has had to contend with, luckily he is a man of great mental toughness and takes it all on the chin.

    PRICE 2019 UNDISPUTED

Odd kind of Renaissance. The dominant champ retires and all the leftover mediocrity slugs it out.

Those who said the heavyweight division is weak, shouldn't watch any heavyweight boxing in March.

Voted Parker and up popped the poll showing only 2 votes for Parker lol.
