Good old Eh Day - the man of the people.

The odd few members of the public may get lucky snapping up the 200 tickets available for public sale.

    Roll up

    90% of the tickets
Are over face value on Stub Hub

surely there is a simple way to stop this from happening, like noting down the serial numbers and cancelling re-sale tickets. i've never even had the slightest problem getting tickets for any of the big shows, but for people who couldnt get them and then have to look at the amount of resale, it must drive them up the wall

There is only a market for re-sale tickets as people buy them. If people didn't this wouldn't be an issue but the reality is there are plenty that are prepared to pay over the face value for hot events.

Agree the only way is for people to take a stand and leave the Touts with 70,000 pieces of worthless paper.

but if people are willing to do that, then it will never stop. Logging any ticket number that is bought and then re-listed would eliminate it completely. they've done it for music events, why cant they do it for boxing?

but that's clearly not gonna happen because, using your favourite quote, "a fool and his money are easily parted". Cancelling any tickets re-listed for stupid prices or provide ID when going through the door takes away the opportunity for people to even do it

i know, i didnt mean its universal, but they've started bringing it in. and if events have a resale market, just check ID as they're going through the door. or have a re-sale market where you can only relist them for face value for the cases where people genuinely can't make it

Good, and people should stop moaning about it, we know it happens and WE allow it to happen. STOP buying from resale sits and then the problem will soon go away, it's really that simple.

Why should the bold Eddie Hearn stop tickets going on stub hub? He makes more money that way, again STOP buying from stub and the problem goes away.

must say I found it very easy to get tickets in the sale today. I started from around 14,000 in the queue aswell.
