That's a very strange statement considering that it was Taylor who surrendered IBF (to Abraham) and WBA (to Sturm) in 2005/06 when they were his mandatories. Healthy move, considering that Abraham nearly killed him when they later fought. Avoided Golovkin later in his career and couldn't come to terms with Abraham/Sauerland? Sure. But avoided Taylor, Pavlik and Martinez? Please.
