Usyk Vs. Briedis to be boycotted by USTV!

Look at the record of the WBSS semifinals: all undefeated, all have excellent wins already.

Here what some of the top cruisers have done:

Usyk schooled Joe Joyce, Junior Fa and other HW prospects in the WSB. He also UD'ed Mihai Nistor who KO'ed Joshua. Many experts, even in the UK, consider him a future threat to the top HWs.
Briedis beat Charr, a reigning HW champion by violent KO.
Huck fought Povetkin to a very close decision some thought he should have won.
Bellew upset David Haye (admittedly an injured Haye, but still ...)

And of those who weren't even good enough to get into the WBSS:
Thabiso Mchunu UD'ed Eddie Chambers convincingly.
Steve Cunningham KD'ed Tyson Fury.

Give me a division which has a better claim to being strong.

They aren't evenly matched, how did you come to that conclusion?

Lol what a dumb comment. It’s one of the most talent filled divisions in boxing. This weekend will be two of the top 3 in the world squaring off. And when Usyk moves up to HW and starts taking those guys to school I’m sure you’ll say the HW division is “weak” too. Probably like you were saying during the Klitschkos 12 year reign of terror right?

Skill wise I’m sure Usyk will capture some good wins, I’m curious to see how his chin holds up at the weight. I seriously doubt his power will translate well at HW since he isn’t the most concussive puncher even at CW.

Well I actually think his power gets too bad a rap. He gets the respect of the bigger guys real quick when he sits on his shots. Check out his WSOB matches against the HW’s in there. And as far as his chin.. I can’t recall him being dropped or badly hurt in the ams or pros.
