I'd be rooting for Salido to do a job, but I like any elite fighter to avenge their losses.

Yes, Title fights are 12 rounds, WSB is not. Pacing is a much larger issue in professional fights.

I doubt that. Because Loma would avenge the loss so completely, and clown Salido so thoroughly, that it will be the only thing anyone talks about after that.

Utterly pointless. Loma would be expected to knock him out. Then even if he did that the detractors that bring up the Salido loss every time Vasyl’s name is mentioned will still just say Siri was way past it, an easy win and it proved nothing. And even as a Loma fan there would be some truth to that. Until he fights another durable pressure fighter at or near his prime then that question mark will remain.

I would like for Lomachenko to fight Salido again just to correct the record. Lomachenko was not treated fairly by the corrupt and idiot referee Lawrence Cole, Lomachenko was fouled over and over again, corrupt judges as well, was still a split decision, but Lomachenko should have won that fight, almost had him knocked out in the 12th round...............Salido refused to rematch Lomachenko, instead he lost to an unknown fighter, lost a lot of money! But yes, I would like to see the rematch happen, would be a good tuneup fight for Lomachenko............

Does anyone else besides me still want to see a rematch? I say Loma should have a warm up fight this year to see how his shoulder holds up. Give poor Salido a nice payday, humiliate him, and then move on for Beltran, Davis, Garcia, etc. Would be a fitting way to avenge and wipe out that blemish on his record.

Be honest, are people who are saying no to a rematch with Salido really think it’s pointless or do they just not want to see Loma prove his haters wrong by washing out Salido with ease, knowing that he’s a vastly improved fighter from their first fight.

No point now, if he wins Salido is old - zero kudos for that, if he loses his credibility takes a massive hit. No win situation.

Too soon, we need to let this fight marinate a bit.

    I’m ok if it’s a warmup fight.
