I second that idea, just to clarify I think would have to be: - only for short-term banned contestants; missed picks are still missed picks for active posters, and perma-banned players (hopefully that does not happen) miss all their picks. - the pick is always the league favourite by the most popular (in the league) method.
Also @MCJ a reminder to get your picks in, and @james5000 don't forget these fights: 1/27 - Jerry Tomogdan vs. Pedro Taduran - 12x3 Philippines (GAB) Minimumweight Title 1/27 - Emmanuel Tagoe vs. Fernando David Saucedo - 12x3 IBO Lightweight Title 1/27 - Martin Fidel Rios vs. Ezequiel Osvaldo Maderna II - 12x3 Argentina (FAB) Super Middleweight Title
Agree completely. If they're not banned and miss them, that's their fault. The permabanned guys, are goners in the league regardless, no point in keeping them around in spirit even.
I really don’t think it is fair to the people who actually make picks. If the pick is not posted in this thread by that specific player, then it shouldn’t count.
I can see your view and CST80's as well. I know how it feels, I have been banned twice last year for silly minor things. Just another suggestion along side CST80 idea. How about we each nominate a league member who can pick for us in case we get banned, so the picks during that banned duration, mirror the pick of that particular member. Just my thought, I respect which ever decision you made and I know and appreciate how much effort you put into this.
The lounge...maybe have an alternate universe Kirk’s thread for any banned souls. They go there to post their picks until they return from ban. At least that’s something I can reference for them.
I half agree. If they message CST or another reliable member in some capacity then the picks should count. That's always how it's been here. Making picks for people I don't agree with though....
