    Hi guys.

This is my first post on this forum. My first experience of boxing was watching a Joe Calzaghe fight about 13 or 14 years ago. I have loved the sport since then, and had a lot of passion for it. Over the last few years I have stopped watching boxing significantly, and I want to change this as its something I enjoy watching so much. I hope to post on this forum often :)

Yesterday I watched Daniel Zaragoza vs Wayne McCullough for the first time. Years before I have watched them both fight, and lose to Morales. But other than that all I knew about them was that McCullough was a huge volume puncher and Zaragoza a crafty older veteran.

It was a good fight. The last two rounds were brilliant. I was very impressed with Zaragoza. His awkward looping shots seemed to not be able to miss McCullough. His shot selection was great- from his looping right hook to the head or body to his unorthodox wide uppercuts. He rarely allowed McCullough to corner him and unload, apart from in the last two rounds where he was tired. McCullough was very game but I think the accuracy of Zaragoza kept stopping his momentum from building.

What are your guys thoughts on this fight and these two guys in general? Also knowing that Morales beat this version of Zaragoza (just 4 years into his career) merely eight months after this fight shows what a good win that was for Morales.

Was shocked by this fight. I bought into McCullough and thought he was the goods and would win this fight. I was wrong. Zaragoza was a very good pro. Solid win in anyone's resume.
