A 5'7 boxer is a small lightweight now?

I think he means overall stature & frame. Loma is 30 & does not struggle at all to make SFW that should tell you enough about his natural size. He's a comfortable SFW. He'll be a small LW. Both Garcia & Crawford have been LW's for large parts of there career's that is another indication that LW has naturally bigger men. I don't think he's out of place at LW though. A small LW yes but he's capable of being one. I think that may be his ceiling IMO but we shall see..

Sounds like an excuse is building, If a boxer moves up and loses I don’t like the weight as an excuse. Either stay in your natural weight class or just do your best and don’t make an excuses if things don’t pan out how you like.

Not directed at you per say, but it's funny, watching the definitions of what is small, and large for weight divisions fluctuate, depending on the fighter that is discussed.

Definitely sounds like it. A 5'7 Keith Thurman is fighting at Welter, and a 5'7 Cotto fought at middleweight. A 5'7 Marquez fought at welterweight as well, and started at featherweight.

& a 5'7 Canelo is fighting at MW

Height is not how boxing weight classes are formed, weight (your body size, frame & mass) is! JMM fought at WW as an old man..I can't see Loma outgrowing LW tbh. Not til he's fat & 40 anyway lol
