Never mind the minor injuries such as shoulder and achilles - he has never been the same man following the broken toe injury in 2011 when Mandy Dingle stamped on his foot on the dance floor in a gay nightclub

Let's get this right...bellew took on a big challenge with haye. Almost everyone had him beat brutally in a couple of rounds. He went up in weight against a massive puncher not only competed well...he showed no fear and ended up winning the fight. Now the goalposts change again.

Tony showed hes up for the challenge. I think it put to bed the whole Tony's all talk stuff tbh.

Let's be fair to people. I ve never been Tony's biggest fan...bit of a haye fan if I,m honest. But tony deserves his respect. Took on what looked like a massive challenge. Its all good and well saying but hate got injured or haye was injured going in or whatever but we all seen haye hitting them pads etc. He,d still almost take your head off if he connected right.

I,d love to see tony taking on one of the top cruiserweight...especially if he gets the win against haye again. Win, lose or draw...just going in their would be good enough for me. I think he deserves to be in there with one of them. Tony's a better fighter than I gave him credit for for years.

Really a non issues because he isn't getting past Haye if Haye is fit..

Last time Haye started believing the tripe he was putting out and went in there to take Bellow out in one round. Eventually he realised that he in fact does talk alot of **** and went about actually boxing Bellow and was taking control (not ko'ing) of the fight..

If Haye decides he is going to win the fight via UD and manages to get through it then that will be the result. Bellow can't outbox him nor knock him out...

There was no "before the injury" in that fight mate, Haye come into the fight with the achilles injury, you could tell something was up from the first few seconds of round 1, with the way he was dragging his back foot around the ring, it was almost like his leg was tied to a ball & chain. If Haye comes into this rematch even 80% fit I think he beats Bellew but who really knows with Haye anymore.

Not to mention the bicep tendon tear, and the torn banjo string from hanging with BJ Flores in Vegas.

Thing is with Tony is, he plays the loud mouthed scouser the general public like to hate and on the other hand he plays the local scouser the people of liverpool like to love.
Love him or hate him Tonys personality has done more for him than his fighting ability has.
Of recent times the makubu fight waa a good one while it lasted but the rest have been nothing of note.
Tony on fighting ability doesnt warrant ppv.
