Lewis of lets say 2000 Grant Botha and Tua wins I would say was peak Lennox.. If not, whatever you consider to be his prime..

    Who beats him H2H.

Ali most certainly, 86 Tysons got a chance, Holmes at his peak . Pick em, Frazier Marciano, Liston too small, can Shavers land a bomb .. Big George?

Wlad- same height maybe a little taller, great straight right the same punch that ko'd Lewis twice by men not as good or as powerful as Wlad. Better footwork and faster hands.
    He could do it.
And as you stated so could Ali, for me peak Tyson is 88 Tyson when he ran through Tubbs, Holmes and Spinks. 2 hall of famers and a very talented under achiever in under a total of 7 rounds.
    Big George could.
I mean Lewis was a great fighter but Botha and Grant were never much. Tua was a good win. I mean that is right around the Holyfield rematch which was past prime Holy and he ran Lewis very very close in the rematch imo

It's a short list. Ali has a shot. Perhaps Foreman, Liston. Not sure I wouldnt bet against Lewis

I think Lewis obliterates Wlad. 3 rounds the minute Wlad tastes that right hand he's folding. But I respect your opinion and see your view

    Rocky Marciano
    Joe Frazier
    Jack Dempsey

And as we know from this board, a prime focused Primo Carnera could very well replace Bowe for a "Olympic Revenge".

A prime focused Oliver McCall? I'd say Evander Holyfield would as well from his era.

I have to say I'm surprised you see my point I just noticed your handle is tko 6 kilt lickers I didn't think with that handle you would be objective.
I think Wlad ko's Lewis faster than McCall did but I respect your view too.

This is one time I don't feel comfortable about the style matchup for Ali. Usually he has a distinct advantage. Lewis negates some of those

Ali, Bowe, Tyson, Holyfield, Holmes, Foreman.
All had a very good chance of beating him.
    Sonny Liston also.

Lewis would very definitely be awkward. I've always envisioned young Ali dancing around, cautious in the early going and getting a bit more done later on as Lewis slowed. He does give up a fair bit of reach and size. There's no-one i take over peak Ali but Lewis i think would be the hardest, potentially. You are right, Lewis would negate a lot and make it extremely tough. I'm still leaning toward the sheer speed and stamina of Ali getting him home. Fascinating match.

It's a short list, probably just few fighters. I'm not saying they would definitely beat him, but they have a good chance.

Ali (both 64-67 or 72-74 versions)
    Foreman (73-74 verison)
    Holmes (78-82 version)
    Tyson (86-88 version)
    Holyfield (90-93 version)
    Bowe (92-93 version)

    Honorable mentions: Liston, Louis, Klitschkos.

Sorry Contro. I have to take issue with anyone rating Ibeabuchi's chances over those of Foreman or Holmes.

Ike achieved nothing. He beat Tua over 12 eounds but I have said before Izon, Maskaev, Rahman all outboxed Tua until the last round. All Ike did more thanthem was last to the end. A good performance, sure but not enough to elevate him to the ATG status he sometimes enjoys.

He never bust Tua up despite landing all those punches. There was little swelling or bruising so I wonder if his power might be overrated. Byrd wasn't completely blown away despite being much smaller. And beyond those two fights, there's not a lot else, imo. We'll never know but I don't think Ike did enough to deserve getting the benefit of the doubt.
