Imagine seeing a Young Haye and Nelson in the ring together, this is the exciting prospect we have on Saturday. In fact both of these guys will go on to meet again when unifying the division.
In two/three years Uysk will have moved up to Heavyweight. Dorticos and Gassiev probably wont be around and Bredis is too small for either guy.
Your crazy if you think either of these guys can beat Briedis, they still have a lot to prove before we can even begin to think that they can hang with guys like Briedis.
Not now in 2/3 years. Okolie has better dimensions and pedigree. Chamberlain with more experience is stylistically a nightmare for anyone.
Maybe or maybe they will both turn out to just be domestic level operators. I like both guys but I'm not ready to say that either of them could take over the division in 2 or 3 years. CW is a stacked division.
A young Haye murders a young Nelson, in fact any fit version of Haye murders ANY version of Nelson. Did you actually ever see a young Nelson fight??
Looking forward to this fight and huge props to both lads for taking it at this stage of their careers. It's been really well promoted especially as both guys haven't even proved to be British Champion level yet (Would like winner to fight winner of Askins v Simmons next). As a headline fight to get 7-8000 It shows how well it's been promoted so well done to those involved. To out sell a DeGale and Selby World title bill in London is some going for two fighters at this stage of their careers.
Seeing the build up to this one, and getting to know both guys better I have to fancy Okolie to win via mid to late rounds KO or UD. I see Chamberlain as a man who might freeze a bit, lacks some inner belief, and is not outgoing. Okolie is notorious for performing on the big stage and very self confident. Okolie should catch Chamberlain. I see a man who is riddled with self doubt and is feeling the pressure in Chamberlain.
