    if it wasnt for the scorecards and outlash that followed, what would you rate GGG vs Canelo #1 from a scale of 1-10? I rated it at a strong 9.5.

    7.5 it was good, but it was no Gonzalez-Sor Rungvisai/Salido-Roman.

    Id score it an 8.5. I really enjoyed the fight, found it intriguing. We were given 2 super elite fighters with differing styles which in the end made both of them have to think about what they were doing from the very start. Canelo countering GGG so well in the early rounds stopping Golovkin being so gung ho but Golovkins power and relentlesness forcing Canelo to go on the run.

    Great fight, cant wait for the next one.

    Its very high at a 9 for me. It was a great fight, very entertaining as I knew it would be.

    Between 7.5 sounds fair.

    Exciting fight, the two best MWs trying to hurt each other and both reaching deep to win. Both showed tons of heart.

    Golovkin looked so unskilled rounds 10, 11, 12 by following Canelo around Chin exposed, and Canelo was winded between rds 4-9 doing the bare minimum.

    9 for me - almost a perfect fight. It would be 10, if Golovkin weren't so one-dimensional with his offence in a headhunting mode, and if Canelo had better stamina, so he didn't have to take long breaks.

    Let's hope boxing doesn't continue this trend of 'Ignore the scorecards as long as the fight is mildly entertaining'.

    Briedis v Usyk showed you can have a tremendous fight combined with tremendous judging.

    Only one guy came to fight, and he couldn’t catch the other’s running ass, so honestly not that high. I rate it about as high as a Floyd fight, so no more than a 5 or 6.
