He would school Yarde 100% all day long. Yarde is just a media champ and FWs love child who thinks hitting pads faster than the speed of light makes you a world champ. He’s overhyped just like Okolie but I really rate Buatsi as seems he has all the attributes.

 

if you can’t at least see that Yarde has something about him technically and power wise then there’s got to be something wrong with you.

He would have also blasted out the same dude Buatsi fought In the first round if he wanted too.

 

I don’t understand all the yarde hate. Hes a good fighter with explosive power and speaks well. Whats not to like? If he was a matchroom fighter, these lot would be saying hes a future 3 weight world champ

 

I’m not convinced by yarde’s chin or his defence but also even though there taking it slow I think in 2-3 years he will really struggle to make lightheavy weight and he’s know where near tall enough to fight at cruiserweight.

 

He’s also very crisp and has a great punch repertoire, very classy fighter.

 

Technically I’m not sure. Power wise then 100%. But I think against an actual decent boxer with a half decent chin he gets taken apart.

 

Will Buatsi be fighting a higher quality of opposition before Yarde?

Technically Buatsi looks the real deal.

 

Getting bored of the opposition. Blown up super middleweights and Eastern European cab drivers just don't do it for me.

 

So if they were British or Americans he was beating instead would that make you happier?

These types obsessions with eastern euros etc being complete bums that a lot of us on forums have is really quite unfortunate. Whilst I’m not saying that if you where to go through my post history that you may find examples which prove me to be hypocritical, I believe that I try to make balanced and reasonable assessments based on the circumstances rather than just pan something.

For example, Yardes next opponent if it remains As Tony Avalant is arguably better than anybody on say Burton and Bugloni’s win record.

Thats probably the same situation with his last opponent Sjekloca. Yes, he was a former super middle but who cares..he’s a 39 year old man not a child and humans beings especially men do get bigger with age. His previous fight to Yarde was at Light heavy anyway. He had also never been stopped despite being in with C Smith, Abraham and Bika etc.

Im not saying Yarde is being moved perfectly, but there’s not been a lot wrong with it especially as he had very limited amateur experience and is only 13 fights in pro.

 

He only had 12 amateur fights and around the same professional fights. He needs to develop his skills yet. Not everyone is a special talent like Lomachenko. Yarde will be world champion within 2 years

 

Buatsi Is a great prospect but Neil from the inbetweeners was never going to give him a stiff test.

 

That's all well and good just personally I don't get excited with TBA opponents. When he fights someone I see as a good test I'll gladly watch.

 

Top fighter - would like to see against Yarde and I think he beats him now

 

Not going to happen for at least the next couple of years.Yarde-BT/Warren and Buatsi-Sky/Hearn

 

Very good talent, making it look easy so far and so he should be with his talent, amateur background & level of opposition. Well worth following his progress.
