Did you watch Duddys last fight? If he fights Pavlik he might get killed in the ring.

Duddy is probably the biggest hype job in boxing today, together with Andy Lee.

Both walking WKO's for somebody. If you include Ireland within the UK, I would struggle to place those two as the best 160lb'ers we have!

I don't think Pavlik is losing any sleep over Duddy.
he's like a Tailor made suit for Kelly's Style.
    (Then again this is boxing....)

look here man, youre just a hater....if duddy or lee were born on the other side of the english channel, you'd be talking about them as if they were ATG's in the making.Duddy has achieved more than all of your current middleweights with ease....and as for lee the guy will have a championship belt around his waist by the end of 2009.UP THE IRISH:bbb

The difference between Duddy and Lockett is that Lockett actually used decent defensive techniques to partially block a lot of Pavlik's shots. ( for all the good it did him ) Duddy hasn't shown much defensive aptitude in the past. It would be a very ugly, short fight.

Andy Lee dominated the first few rounds of his fight with Vera. But when Vera didn't go down like his previous opponents Andy Lee made the mistake of letting Vera trick him into getting into a brawl. Andy Lee's loss smacked of inexperience and a rookie mistake. He still has a lot of potential.

This thread is a joke, right? Duddy would be massacred by Pavlik.

    No, I wouldn't.

A hype job is a hype job, in any case, it is the Irish Sea rather than the English channel, unless their names have changed to Jean Dudde and Andre Lie!

No doubt Duddy has had a decent run in comparison to most current 160lb'ers from our shores, but that isn't much, is it?

Perhaps Lee will have an alphabet strap around his waist, but that isn't saying much, hell, even Gavin Rees had one recently.

Decent point Booklord - inexperience and rookieness.

Hardly the makings of a guy to be champ by end of next year as was hyped - sorry hoped!

Duddy could have any trainer, blocking massive bombs with your cherry chase isn't the way.

Campus should have retired years ago, Eastman seems to be losing to everyone lately, and Bosante? I also believe Duddy and Lee are hyped, but Duddy is young and can still learn how to work on his defense. Hey, why don't they put Duddy against Lee for are the marbles. Lee is trained by Steward so either he is not the real thing or Steward is slipping. All and all, they are still very young and should be managed a little slower. Duddy is no where near ready to fight Pavlik.
