WBA mandatory fight, Burnett will vacate his IBF belt, good fight.

Not sure I'd go so far as to call it a 'good fight' to be honest. Isn't he dropping down a weight too?

Any idea why they vacated the IBF?

Think they got an exception for the unification fight and then the 2 mandatories were called at the same time.

bit of a weird one, there doesn't seem to be anyone ranked 1 or 2 in the ibf at bantamweight and this guy parejo was already beaten by the guy burnett beat for the ibf

Looks like vacating works for Matchroom too, Butler is number 3 in the IBF.

Do you think he would beat Tete? Think Frank is over rating him a bit

Id pick tete over burnett atm.
Whilst i do like and rate burnett highly, tete is a southpaw that gets good leverage on his punches. Hes got really long arms and hes effective at doing the usual southpaw stuff.

Haskins v Butler would be a terrible fight to watch.

I would watch it better than them fighting someone we have never heard of.

If it’s a better stylistic match up then I couldn’t care less if I’ve heard of their opponent personally. Haskins has looked terrible in the last 3 fights or so I’ve seen him in, he looks old, weak and disjointed. Butler isn’t the same fighter since he got Tete’d and he’s been extremely boring to watch for a long time- I’ll take a pass on that fight

I really like Paul top fighter but I agree his last few fights have been a little boring he tends to hold his hands a lot higher since he’s been with Gallagher which has taken away a lot of his upper body movement terrible move going to Gallagher there’s loads of really good trainers out there Gallagher’s style is all wrong for paul
