P4P claim is a bit too bold IMO... I'd say that Ryan Burnett is ahead of him as a unified champ...

I do agree that a eubank win makes him a real star in British boxing

One thing I can see is that Saturday will be a controversial night, not sure what but just get the feeling it will be clouded in controversy.. No doubt old English will be in the centre of it

Frampton is class no doubt but has dipped a bit - at the min (if he won) I'd put him 3rd behind AJ and BJS.

Where did Groves go after his loss against Froch? The same route is available for junior, even if he gets hammered by Groves.
Groves needs to conclusively finish him or get potentially robbed by a controversial decision. I can see the puppet masters pushing for a junior win.

oh come on, you can't be serious. AJ (if you include HWs), Frampton, your best mate Saunders and arguably Burnett would still be above him

BJS beat him ...... therfore his best win is not better than BJS and never will be as he lost. If Eubank goes on to beat everyone he will not have beaten anyone better than BJS's record cos Eubank himself is on BJS' record.

I really doubt him moving back down to 160. He has had so many problems making it in the past, and now after settling in at 168 he probably drains himself to Bolivian if he tries making 160 again.

On a side note, where is @james5000

He came on after the fight Saturday night and made a thread, holding his hands up that he got it wrong and I haven't seen a post from him since.

Personally I hope he is OK, he seemed to take he defeat badly but was decent enough to praise Groves and like I said hold his hands up.

I have got predictions wrong and will again, we all do but I hope he hasn't vanished just because he went all in on Eubank Jr.

Either way he will be losing something from one of his best assets in my opinion, his strength, that bullying style.

And maybe even his work rate/stamina.

if he boils down to 160 again and it's a real struggle he might not be the same later in fights and might not be able to sustain that work rate and pace and at 168 Groves handled him with ease, there was a noticeable size difference, it isn't working the same at 168.
