There is only one HW out there that I will avoid watching because the entertainment value is completely missing and that is powder puff punch, running man Hughie Fury.

He produced the single most dire 12 round performance I have seen in watching HW boxing against Parker. Zero ill intent, zero intent to plant his feet and land, zero attempt to entertain and a complete back foot and run away performance. Jabs that have zero power on them and are not scoring punches, he maybe landed 2 punches all fight and none with anything behind them.

Hughie is completely and utterly dull, Yawn.

There are massive fights every other weekend in May - which is why I’ll make this date my little break from boxing inbetween. No way do I want to watch Hughie run around the ring again flicking pitty pat jabs.

Ill be watching and cheering along young Hughie Fury. Yes his fights aren't for everyone and his fight with Parker was awful (i think Parker was just as bad as Fury that night but Parker never seems to get no blame) but he is still young and still learning, good luck to him.

    Team Fury all the way.

Come on, I mean, if Hughie's arms were a centimetre longer, all those jabs against parker would have landed and he'd have won clearly. He absolutely schools Sam Sexton.

I think Hughie does have more skills than he showed against Parker. I'm not saying that he will come forward and fight sexton, but he will definitely show a bit more aggression and change his style a little bit. It's tougher for hughie than it is for tyson because Tyson has height to help him more.

He knows now that to win a title, you have to rip it from your opponent by showing them who's boss. You've got to be flashy and show some aggression the majority of the time. Even Tyson against Klitschko showed he has more tricks in the book than just simply throwing a jab all fight long. He won't make the same mistake again, and I back him to win a world title, if Joshua doesn't get them. I can see Hughie winning against Wilder. Wilder doesn't quite have the aggression of parker, and doesn't have the strength of Joshua. He loses to Joshua, I think joshua manhandles him.

But yeah, definitely now considered the 'forgotten outsider'. I think hughie will bounce back and get a world title, as long as he doesn't have to face Joshua to get it.

Clearly YouTube never worked as a ppv...

They should do this again, put the fight for free on YouTube and the numbers would be much bigger than ch5

I agree. That should have been the route they went down.

The rights fee from Channel 5 should cover most of the costs for this event so that's why they've gone down this route.

This might spur Mick on to make higher calibre match ups if that's the only way he gets tv coverage.
