I don't care what anybody says Jr looked a little nervous, might just be adrenaline, probably is adrenaline to be fair, I'd be buzzing my moobs off if I was standing in his shoes.. but he was the first one talking, fake smiling, It is his biggest fight and he will feel it.

Groves looked bang on it, I'm more than happy with that from a Groves point of view, he has been here a few times and looked focused and rather relaxed, he always looks like crap on the scales but he looks a lot healthier than he has done before.

Thought Groves looked really good also on the scales, seen him look a lot worse before.

@james5000 posted a video the other day from Hatman, I haven't watched him for a while, I moved on to other channels and haven't gone back but I have been watching a few of his videos since James posted.. anyway

I am going with a Groves win, I've made no bones about that.

But I think this video sums up predictions/thoughts of a lot of people, adds to what @Twentyman was saying about how this thread has been rather sensible and hasn't descended in to insults and abuse.

I think quite a lot of people feel like that about this fight, they sway backwards and forwards, they are on a percentage thing, they might be favouring Jr 70/30 for example.

But here being here, you feel compelled to pick a side and have to defend to the end it or be slaughtered for "sitting on the fence", I liked the opinion of Hatman and agree that there is nothing wrong with not being 100% on anything, you can slightly favour a fighter over another without having to go all in.

I want Groves to win and have put money on him.

Will he be able to box behind a jab all night? Of course not. But his jab will count.
Did Cox simply beat him up until the 4th, as some/one suggests? Of course not.
Was Groves lucky when he put Cox down? Of course not.
Will Groves dance around Junior like bjs did. No, he won't. But he will move and box whenever he can get away from Junior.
Will he be able to hold his own up close? I think Junior will swarm him, make him look bad at times and then Junior will go down from a body shot or uppercut.

This is going to be a gruesome fight, especially if/when it goes past the first three or so rounds.

I think Eubanks is going to swarm Groves ... big big danger for a boxer like Groves. But the Saint can fight, slug it out, step back and box again, get the measure of and put Junior down.

He's the better man and boxer, his punch output is approximately the same as juniors and I'm sure his cardio training was brutal. Groves will win.

Both fighters looked in top shape on the scales
I do think groves looked cooler and composed and Jr still trying too hard to get a reaction.
We are in for a war tommorow night my friends

Reminded me of the Froch Groves weigh in, but a role reversal. I don't think Groves wants to lose energy over it personally, all that matters is what they do in the ring at the end of the day.

Groves looked good at the weigh in I’m sticking to my prediction of a groves win by mid round ko

Picked picked Young Christopher at the start and I’m sticking with him. Late KO.

Just seen weigh in. Groves looks gaunt as expected. Eubank looked great...which might actually be a bad thing. There's a reason even the top guys look drained on the scales.

George gonna rehydrate a lot but how many times can you do that to your body before it begins to take its toll. I think it has with George tbh the last few fights its just that no ones been good enough to capatalise on it.

No nerves from eubank at all for me. Its actually quite scary how little hes effected by things. Hard to judge George fairly...guy looks so depleted hes just happy to get through it. Eubanks either really misjuded things or they know exactly what their doing...we,ll soon find out.

After watching the weigh in and seeing Groves looking in ridiculously good shape, much better than I have seen him in a long time I can't help but think he could be the one who has in fact over trained.

    Lol is it possible?

    Definitely possible James.

I thought originally Groves looked good, saw the video after closer up of his face and didn't look as good, but he looked better body wise then I've seen before.

He did sound very croaky in the ITV Box Office video after mind you, almost like he didn't feel well, definitely sounded like he had a sore throat and very quiet, clearing throat.

Groves looked drained. He visibly has a bigger frame - look how much thicker through the body he is and will outweigh CEJ by a a full stone in the ring. CEJ looked as always lean and fit and supremely confident. If Groves cant stop him he could easily drown George in a blizzard of punches. Groves needs a ko here. He will not outwork Eubank over 12. Can he do it - I'm not so sure.

If only the general forum could have proper boxing conversations without getting into ridiculous arguments.
